ill show off my advent cats as well then !! we have boulder and ivory who are mates and ivorys carrying his kits. im personally hoping for a dilute tortie in one of their litters so i can get one of their 'canon' kits, pebblekit ! nonetheless, i'm super excited to have them in my clan, and we'll see where their story goes C:

former rogues can keep their old names, but can they keep them if they're leaders and have nine lives ? :0c

I've only seen one leader with a suffix other than -star (and searching for leaders who don't end -star is hard). Hyenaclan are my normal exception to how naming is done. Here the leader is Arrow the Beast Master. I don't know for sure, but I don't think that Arrow had her 9 lives.
From what I've seen keeping a rogue/loner name means sacrificing the chance at those other 8 lives. However, if you actually wanted to do that, I'd recommend checking it over with a proper mod, especially Simon or Kat to be sure of their opinions on it. To me it makes most sense that keeping a loner name means sacrificing the 8 lives, as the -star is meant to signify the connection to Starclan the cat has thanks to the lives, but checking if it comes up wouldn't hurt.

I've seen a lot of people do it themselves. I think most mods could manage it, but that for time reasons for them, it's better if you do image searches for adult images yourself. Make sure that if you do find images yourself, they fit to the CS anti-art-theft rules, which should all be searchable from here. There's quite a few websites which you can get stock images from, but make sure you check what credits are needed and so on. I'd really rather people try to avoid warnings from the mods for their images, and it's not too hard to do.
The alternatives are to just leave the kit image (for maximum cuteness) or to not include the image in each post and instead save links to the images on your device so you can still see them (what I do).

Yeah, that's fine. For instance, I have a cat called Moraine, who was originally a tribe cat. There's also another cat I've found while looking over prefix ratios who was called Walter.
There was also Hyenaclan who all had non-typical clan names eg "Scales the Swift Legs".
I'd say as long as you're not giving them anything rude, or duplicating names (that aren't from kits or apprentices - I'm not sure if leaders are fine, but would advise against because it could be confusing), pretty much any name should be fine, and also be fine for them to just keep.

I adopted a cat from a quitting clan, and they had found it as a kittypet. Now he is called Mikestep- the prefix is not a typical warrior cat name but it works. ^^

So, the link to the calendar Mochi/Ornamentalist made is here (which I assume is okay to share again).
You can take everything up to the day you've got to, and since it's the 26th that means you can claim a mix of up to 25 herbs and prey (which I think are meant to be randomised), and 2 cats of your choice (with no special abilities). You can claim less than that if you want. Marking out that it's the advent stuff somehow would be a good idea, so people know you're not cheating!
