Happy New Year, kal community !! Hopefully the holidays were fun and/or relaxing for everyone all around ^^ As per usual with my posts here there's always a lot to share from my last update to now !! To start I have more art gathered from amazing artist to share, as always def suggest commissioning any of them if their shops have any open slots c: Since my last post too, last year's wonderful summer kal event has been concluded and during it's duration I was able to make to make two new kiddos .
Therefore, first I'd like to introduce Monet ( who prefers to go by the nickname given to him by his estranged brother; Monty ). In my universe he's the god of free will, the embodiment of predetermined destiny versus individualistic choice he represents this in every action he makes. Stubborn to the bone with an astounding attitude to match, nobody would ever realize the deep love he has for his brother. Especially, since their tragic separation as children. Monty has a deep drive to try and free his brother from what he believes to be an eternal servitude to godhood, that he's watched centuries consume his brother to a depressive shell he barely recognizes from their youth. This will has strengthen even more so with the birth of his niece, as her introduction into the world has brought the two feuding brothers finally closer as a family; although not perfect just yet.
My second introduction, is the stormy Vesalius. The god of storms and weather, he is an apathetic creature among the vast pantheon. Even to mortals he’s not regarded as special, not prayed to or worshipped like the elder gods before him. Vesalius is just easily forgotten amongst his kin due to his silent nature, never one for striking an engaging conversation or even looking his peers in the eyes for that matter. He rather just simply float among the clouds, content to live out his days high in the sky. Sometimes he drifts so far that when the sun god passes on his daily route, he can reach out and touch his belly scales. Feeling the immense heat that lingers under that enormous body; he can still feel the stinging sensation of his paw pads. It reminds him that he is alive, that he is divine and most importantly that he has a duty to perform. Additionally, I've already had my first batch with Vesalius although this time around I didn't keep the kit even through they were the darnest little thing; I just didn't have any ideas where to put them in my world ^^;
And last but certainty not least, the torch bearer Ramanujan. A loyal servant to the fire god, he bares the sacred flame of his patron god within the torch wound around his tail. It was all by chance that they encountered one another, but the moment the god offered Ramanujan to be his torch he vowed to serve him faithfully without second thought. Although he has a lot to learn about the entity his sworn his live away too, for behind all that gleaming warmth and beauty lies a very tragic past. Reality will catch up with Ramanujan fast as all the secrets come crashing around him but it's up to him to decide whether this is just a test of his faith or to simply run.
That's all for intros this time around !! I'm still looking for a growth artist willing to grow Dali and Arno; I'd honestly be able to do the linework myself and just need someone to fill in the designs !! I can offer C$, CS pets, or FR gems/treasure so feel free to pm if ya interested in helping me out c: Lastly, I'd love to start off the new year with setting up/planning another nusery batch ^^ Here's a stash link that has all my kals in them for easy access, I also recently purchased a kit select that I'd be willing to use depending on the pairing !! - @zero.two - Shura is a beaut, I can see her design has inspiration from Fire Emblem Fate's Takumi with the hair design specifically ^^ I always enjoy seeing characters from media get made into feral designs and completely made into something new lore wise c:
