who has read the 2nd fnaf book yet? i haven't got to yet

I read it also, and I would give it a 3 star rating myself, but that's my opoin.

haven't read the entire book but know the gist of it. honestly it was a little "out there" for me but I still enjoyed it. I think what a lot of people forget is that the books aren't the same as the games. if you go in expecting something related to the games you're going to be disappointed. I think it's good Scott is exploring multiple ideas, just speaking from a creator's standpoint things start to feel kind of stale when you only elaborate on one idea, and the other ideas often feel like wasted opportunities. having said that, I know there's definitely a lot of people who didn't like that even with that in mind, and I can see why. it was definitely a little strange and I'd say the writing seemed somewhat amateur at best during some scenes, so I totally get why a lot of people thought it wasn't good.
overall it's a bit of a curve ball for the whole franchise and that's going to appeal to some people and not others. so I can't say with certainty if it's worth getting. I say if you liked the first book, don't mind unrealistic ideas, and keep in mind that it isn't canon, you'll probably enjoy it. if you strictly enjoy the games or dislike anything too weird, you probably won't.

Yeah I gave it to a couple writer friends to read pieces of and yeah they said the writing wasn't great. Some of the lore made sense but the connections and story flow just weren't there for me like the first one.

Yeah, and half of the Freddit has already completed it, too. This seems to be the final game in the series, though, as always, there are some new questions that are left unanswered, like why in the heck would Scott change Springtrap's design?

I've played about forty-five minutes of it so far, and believe me, don't let the first two minutes fool you. This is FNaF6, and it is a horror game.
