I don't like arguments about 03 and brotherhood. I love both. I watched 03 first. I cannot read well so I've one read the first few mangas. Plus I like to have physical copies and I can't find those anywhere.

XD^ I actually didn't notice the difference till now...oopsie.

I know someone probably said this like a thousand times or something, but I found 2003 more darker than Brotherhood, which had a lot less comedy in my opinion. I could have been my favorite but idk why, it was probably the ending that made it my 5th favorite anime for me >_>

yeah from the spoilers I have seen of 03 it is way darker but I can't wait to start watching it since I have already saw brotherhood its my top anime but I can already tell 03 will become my second favorite.It just looks great even if its a bit darker.

(Also, I figured out a few days ago that Japanese for 2003 is "nisensan" and I've been obsessed with that word ever since. O_O)

why are you scared to buy the 3-in-1 thats what my book store mostly had but it got me up to volume 15 for less money

There's this post going around on Tumblr praising FMA for a long list of reasons, and then someone corrects them to "Brotherhood". I once saw a version with tags saying "don't let them watch 2003 or they'll be disappointed". I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS.

????? I LOVED the '03. It had its own story that I may or may not have based my oc on oops. Even if it didn't follow the manga it held up decently, and had a lot of memorable moments. Once I saw on argument on who did the Lior scene (with the lion chimera) better, and ppl were like "omg brotherhood was so much better bc brotherhood is the best." They gave no valid reason? Personally I liked the '03 better, bc the sand thing and stuff. /end rant/

Personally, I think 2oo3 was more serious and sad, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it! I hear people saying they like Brohood more because it was based off the manga, but they don’t realize that the manga was still in development when the first anime came out. It honestly angers me, as I think that both animes are wonderful, and I’d like to call them ‘alternate universes’, since it’s obvious that they created AUs in CoS and FMA ’o3, so I don’t know why this shouldn’t be the case for both animes, even if it’s just coming from a fan?

I don’t know. I just think 2oo3 deserves more love than it already has.

I hate to break it to you, but FMA isn't real. IT CAN BE REAL IN OUR HEARTS.
