Never really had any nightmares myself, though I have had normal dreams of them. Also, try not to double post.

From what I understand, Scott's nightmares were different. He has something sort of like sleepwalking that reacts to your dreams. He had a nightmare of Bonnie running down the left hall. Because of his condition, he got up, still asleep and dreaming, and went to the door to shut it, but it's locked. If the doors won't close, that means an animatronic is already inside the office. So you can imagine how terrifying it must have felt to act out your dream in real life. Basically, it's like thinking your dreams are happening in real life, and you sleepwalk to your dreams. It's an interesting condition actually,

Nevermind, couldn't see the double post

My apologies won't do it again.

Though, tbh I like the nightmare animatronics except when they try to kill you

I'm a oneirologist, a scientist who studies dreams, and many of my patients are FNAF players. A few of the sleepwalking ones have reported unusual sleepwalking patterns when they dream about FNAF, especially when they consider it a nightmare. It's possible that dreams do have some connection to what we do in our sleep. There's even been cases where people have murdered someone in their sleep, and the trials are often complicated, acquittals and convictions tread on thin ice in that situation.

Are you really a oneirologist? Cause if you were you would seem a bit to old for this site. No offense I'm just saying.

More like a person who's studying Oneirology and using friends as research. I'm a high functioning autistic, so I'm interested in things a normal teenage boy wouldn't even know about. My autism has it's ups and downs, considering I'm not even twenty and am a husband and father of three.

I have a cousin with high functioning austism as well, he knows a lot about human biology and sciences, along with astronomy and quantum physics. So I know what that growing up with someone with strange interests is all about. c;
On the case of my dreams, the ones dealing with FNAF don't cause me to sleep walk, but I do remember them clearly. They cover a lot of ground, and they always seem rather real if that makes any sense. I do a lot of walking within the dream, but not physical walking while I'm sleeping.

Sleepwalking doesn't always have to do with the dreams, some people are just natural sleepwalkers, they do it very often. One neighbor of mine actually made his wife lock the fridge when they go to bed, because he's not just a sleepwalker, he's a sleep eater, which can be very dangerous. It's easy to choke on food if you're not fully aware of your surroundings.

Also, for some reason, a few of my friends who sleepwalk and are eager gamers who focus on a specific game seem to 'dream walk' whenever they dream about the specific game. One friend got was throwing tennis balls at his dog because he was dreaming of encountering a shiny Pokemon. Another friend was dreaming of an Animal Crossing villager chopping down a tree and she finds herself out chopping down a tree. Dream walking is a very rare habit, but it does occur. FNAF dream walkers seem to have the most terrifying stories however. One friend was dreaming that Freddy got into the office, and in a fit of pure terror, he grabs a nearby baseball bat and clobbers his bearskin rug. That one was actually amusing though

Oh cool, I'm also high Functioning with autism but the only thing I've become more fascinated with his knowing the full story of fnaf. Also, he better be careful with that problem if he's sleep eating.

Anyways, back on topic I do believe that maybe the story of fnaf is possibly true.

Pup culture seems to be the strongest link to dream walking. People who are obsessed with a certain thing, celebrity, TV show, book, etc. seem to be the most likely to dream walk. But yeah, we should stop spamming
