(Sebastian would go as himself, obviously. That or James Bond, as he wouldn't want to lose the suit)
genuinely, i listed 'themselves' because i thought of seb LOLOL i was at a loss trying to find options cx
*StormCloud* wrote:tenor wrote:ive always loved fantasy but it's always leaned more towards dragonless fantasy ? out of all the fantasy stories/short stories ive written, out of all the knights/kingdom-centered settings ive written in, i have not once written about a dragon. feels a little absurd bc i love READING about them, but
Okay first off you can call me whatever you want π€£ listed nicknames just suggests, IDC lol. c: also, now that you mention it, I listed dragons but I don't think I've never actually written about dragons either. I have a lot of miscellaneous magical creatures (like in my first book that we never talk about or mention again after this) I had a reverse werewolf (human only in the full moon), and like to use random sprites, elves, gremlins, whatever I can to get a nice vibe going haha.
*is considering asking about this 'first book' of yours*but aaaahahaha i have made up so many weird creatures as well in my stories - most of them spinoffs of vampires/werewolves. i dont really like sticking to the norms, like i wouldn't have a canon vampire or canon werewolf, just bc theres random things that i would want them to be able to do/traits that i would want them to have and if i labeled them as a vampire then i fear the hate i'd receive for it :') hence why ive got my bloodborne and watchdogs, cuz i can create their entire existence on my own without the sway of other species >:) (even tho they are constantly being called vampires/werewolves by the innocent and confused and sheltered and uninformed MC)

tenor wrote:DUUUUDE midi sounds so cool ! AND she looks awesome ! the idea to manipulate her bones is CRAZY and she's so OP in a good way >:) when you say that her ability causes pain and bleeding -- when she breaks through her skin, does the skin grow back, or no? i LOVE quirks/abiilities that have the terrible side effect of being extremely painful lol, im such a freak for it.
theres so many endless possibilities of violence with midi's ability LOLLL
and i can definitely imagine being raised as a weapon/fighter can have its drawbacks. as the deuteragonist, does her insanity/instability affect the protagonist? im so interested to see how they would mesh with midi's lack of socialization lol
YESSS UGHHH YOU GET IT YOU GET IT!!! I probably shouldn't go into specifics due to CS guidelines, but she is so fun to write due to how creative I can get with her power and how she uses it during fights.. things get very bloody. Midi's skin
does heal, but after all that damage its very scarred and rough to the feel. Girl could benefit from using some coconut oil.
Midi's antisocial nature definitely leads to some tension between her and the protagonist, especially since protag is a pacifist while Midi thinks violence solves everything lol. She also has a GIANT ego from being raised to be a "winner", and meeting someone potentially stronger, let alone TRAINING them, really gets into Midi's head. The drama is crazyyy (but they do learn to see eye-to-eye eventually #found family)
first of all, you're not alone in the token hunting taking over your life LOL, halloween event goes crazy. and no worries on slow replies! (i totally didnt take 2 days to respond to this) we all have lives and wanna chill :3 and sometimes are just antisocial π (me)
"girl could benefit from using some coconut oil" SENT ME ππππ
i loveloveloveeee your characters so far, im excited to hear more about them in future QOTWs >:) i LOVE the sense of character development im feeling so far :> eeeeee
hornet wrote:ALSO- From your QOTW: That's such a cool world concept! I'm also a sucker for limited/no technology, and the fact its in the future rather than the past is a fun twist. Thinking about someone smuggling an old iPod nano or something and viewing it as a timeless relic made me smile LOL
bahahahha my little smuggler constantly carries around an ipod touch with wireless earbuds and it always ends up dying on him in like one day of traveling LOL, i love him to bits.

you can call me: nini or sunny, either is okay !!
my pronouns are: she/they
here's a bit about me/ my writing journey: i started out doing fanfiction and still do write it from time to time (mainly fusion aus and horror), and I also write a lot of poetry on the side that is very vaguely messaged and I will probably never reveal. I'm also playing around with two ideas for original stories, one of which is a coming-of-age supernatural thriller and another which is romance/sci-fi/dystopian. And finally I'm considering carrying on a story my mom started writing when she was my age that she never got around to finishing, because the plot so far really intrigues me !

EEEEEE YIPPEEEEEEE

EEEEEEEEEE
welcome to our humble abode, sunny!!
oml we've got z0mbi3 c4ndy up in here >:)))
i greatly appreciate the amount of poets on here who will probably never share their poems -- something about it makes me feel like ive got a lil group of also-strugglers who use poems to release their thoughts :'> my poems will never see light of day.
and i ALSO started with fanfics, but they were more of just weird stories using webkinz characters with my sister ? i classify it as fanfics bc it evolved to me going on wattpad and then ao3 lol
oh my gooodnesss the idea of you picking up a story that your mom started writing when she was ur age is CRAZY CUTE to me. you could finish her unfinished words πππ i support this.
and all of your genres seem so neat so far >:) its been a minute since ive read horror/thriller but im incredibly intrigued on that. also im just a sucker for romance, lol, and a dystopian romance takes me back to divergent days π i never was huge into divergent but i respect the premise and, if executed well, a dystopian romance would be a BANGER.
eeeee again, welcome to our abode :> if you have any questions or anything feel free to reach out!
