{Star Trek: The Next Generation} Fan Club

Should this club be changed to one for Star Trek in general or should it stay a club for TNG only?

It should be converted to a club for Star Trek as a whole, I'd like to be able to talk freely about all series!

It should stay a TNG only club; there should be seperate clubs for seperate series.

It doesn't really matter to me either way.

Yes, that was the name of it. :3 It's my new favorite episode so far.

I just realized I missed someone on the poll--Dr. Pulaski. Even though she was only in Season 2 (I think) she's still a main character. *goes to fix it*

Unless she comes back in later seasons (I'm only on season 3), I don't think she's on any more than that single season. Shame, too, because she was a good character. I didn't really like her at first, but she grew on me.

Recently I watched "Captain's Holiday". Definately an interesting episode, but it was fun to see Picard on his own for once, without his crew to tamper with his true personality. Although I definately ship Picard and Beverly much more than he and Vash (but I do admit, Vash was another good character). I swear, though, Picard acts like a kid in a candy store when exposed to historical artifacts or quests.

I liked that episode! I don't understand the technical terms either, but I still love to hear them. Strangely, even though it's that easy to make sentient holograms ("Make it able to beat Data!"), it doesn't really happen again until Voyager with the Doctor. I mean, how useful would that be if they rigged up holo-emitters all over the ship and just generated tons of holograms and holographic weapons whenever they got into trouble?

Ooh, I like her too. Though she was pretty mean to Data at first, I really liked her by the end of the season. I liked her more than Dr. Crusher.

It seems like every time they use that holodeck something bad happens. It distracted Riker in the episode "00110110," something bad happened in "The Big Goodbye," and now a character almost gains control of the Enterprise.

I like Dr. Pulaski better than Crusher. She has more of a personality in my opinion. I do like Dr. Crusher though, and all of the crewmembers for that matter--except for Wesley. I don't know what it is with him...

I never really liked Yar. I didn't like her personality.

The holodeck is like the transporter- if it's focused on for more than 30 seconds in an episode, then something's gone wrong.

I like Wesley, but sometimes he isn't that smart and acts like a real jerk. XD Though I do like the episode- can't remember what it's called- when Riker brings back that alien game and it mind controls everyone, Wesley really shines I think.

Haha, exactly. xD

Anyway, I think Data played the violin beautifully in that episode. I wonder if Brent Spiner was really a violinist.

Am I the only one that wonders how, in the episode where Picard and three other crewmembers became children again, their uniforms also shrunk?

I haven't seen that one yet. Now I'll never get that fact out of my head when I see it. Thank you.
