i'm using google chrome on windows 7 and your signature lines up fine, molly! also the colours are nice and i love the layout and the symbols and the everything.

So I've tried and tired and tried, and slaved and slaved and slaved, but I just can't get my sig they way I want it to,

Any crtiique/ideas?

the first thing i would recommend is maybe using a different shade of pink, your current shade hurts my eyes and is hard to read. maybe have multiple shades of pink throughout your signature, or try and find some colours that look nice with your pinks and use those too?
your current layout is great though, even though your box doesn't quite line up on my browser?

maybe centre the text borders? not like, put them in the centre, just p much after the left alignments go [ center ]like [left][ center ] it'll have the same effect as text that is centred but not in the center eg kind of like

@Tadashi looking good. The only critique I'd have is that sometimes 400 px height can be a little overwhelming, I personally set 300 as my limit and do try to work under that. That's mostly a personal preference, though: loving it so far

How do you decide on a theme for your signature?

this is a little late but why not answer.
i usually go with a character that i enjoy because most of the time i
make anime themed signatures. sometimes i also like to make signatures
about real animals like dogs. one example would be a corgi or a husky.
i also like to listen to music that seems like it would fit for that character,
animal, person, etc. it really helps me get a good idea for the signature.

i just kind of. all of a sudden "this song reminds me of htis character !! bring it on !!" or see a cool gif set on a tumblr and just "bring it on !!' bc im horrible at sigs send help
except there are too many things i want to theme sigs i just dont know what the sigs would look like hhh. i want a noire sig i want a yarne sig i want an inigo sig i want a luna fromvlr sig i want a eucliwood hellscythe sig i want a kamishiro twins sig i want too many sigs okay

Shrek, I use Firefox and have my CS zoomed out a bit, not sure how much though (so the leaves and flowers on either side of the screen are not directly touching the forum post area, if that makes sense?) It fits in even if I zoom, though! So yeah... cx

I agree, Mimo. I love your siggies and the pinks (I personally think it's fine if you decide to keep it that way, but you could mix things up if you really wanted to!) but sometimes it's just a tad light to read. Other than that, beautiful! I like the one you have now. c:

I agree with Aaron✦, I don't like to use all the space available for a signature. That's just personal preference for me as well, though, as I tend to rather not be noticed right away and I just like the look of smaller siggies. I really like it, though! It looks very well done; only thing I can say is that the white where the transparent images are touching the black border is kinda distracting. That's the only thing! c: I like working with the height of 300 best myself, as well. XD

Just don't laugh. I have my own siggy making system, and although not always efficient it works... kinda. XD
