No kidding! XD that would be Inuyasha...though he does mature a bit more towards the end of the seasons! Miroku too. Actually...they all matured in some way or another in my opinion!

Well usually there has to be some sort of character development in anime for it to be good. Even Sesshomaru got character development with his slight softening toward humans thanks to Rin.

Another week, another two episodes of Inuyasha. I'm half-awake, but I'm going to do my best to watch through them anyway. Man, I miss the days it aired at 1am. The two episodes that are airing are about Ryukotsusei, and the discovery of the backlash wave. It always strikes me as slightly odd that he doesn't find out about it until so late in the series. (Well, episode 54 seems a little late to me at least.) Of course, it took him a good while to learn about the wind scar too. I think it was episode 34 or 35 before he learned about it.

Totosai always makes me chuckle. He's such a crazy old man, and I rather like his character even though he doesn't show up often. His English voice actor did a good job with him, of course, everyone is very well cast.

For being such a strong demon - the one that in essence fatally injured Inu no Taisho - the series spends an incredibly small amount of time talking about this demon. Of course, they couldn't dwell on it long since the main conflict is with Inuyasha, but Inuyasha's father also had the power of the Tetsusaiga, so he could've used the backlash wave as well, and he really was a lot more. I don't know, I just feel like it should've been a little harder of Inuyasha to defeat him.

Oh, and another thing while I happen to be thinking about it, has anyone noticed that Inuyasha only transformed after he got the Tetsusaiga. Why hadn't he ever transfromed before he got it? Was his life just never in enough danger?
I'm being really nitpicky today... It's probably because I'm so tired, but I've watched Inuyasha so many times that I've started to notice and think about the little things. :P

Those are some very good points actually! I always did like that episode but i do have to agree with you there...it was rather easy for Inuyasha to defeat Ryukotsusie...if it took Inuyasha's father everything he had to simply SUBDO the demon...

I agree! Totosai (spelling...) is very funny! I always have to laugh when Inuyasha cant help but hit him. That might sound mean but sometimes the crazy old mad deserves it!

as for Inuyasha's transformations...i remember that at some point in the series, it is said that Tetsuaiga, or atleast its sheathe, protects Inuyasha from his Demon Form. So i am rather surprised that he didnt seem to transform when he was younger as well!

Sorry I missed my normal commentary last week on the Inuyasha episodes that aired. I must have been too tired to wake up for it. Anyway, I'm doing it this week. The two episodes airing on Adult Swim are 'Fateful Night in Togenkyo' part 1 and 2.

If I ranked all of my favorite episodes of the entire series, these two would likely be ranked pretty high. It's not very often that we get to see Inuyasha during the new moon, and as much as he hates it, I kind of like seeing him as a human on occasion. I rather like him with black hair, of course the silver is nice too.

I would really hate to live in a village in a box, and I would most definitely spend my time working on getting out instead of doing any sort of training. These two episodes, mostly the last one, does have some nice, sweet moments too between Inuyasha and Kagome.

I do always feel sorry for the old man that was Tokijin's his mentor. He had a rather sad last part of his life as some sort of flower, at least he redeemed himself in the end.

Such a heart-warming moment at the end... until he shows back up and breaks the moment. XD
