I haven't posted my thoughts on One Bad Apple yet, mostly because I've been trying to find the words for it. I think I have now.

As a victim of years of childhood bullying I still struggle with as an adult, I was thrilled to find out there was an episode on bullying coming out. Kids need to learn how to deal with bullies. But I think the episode fell short. I felt like the bullying episode had good intentions but it massively oversimplified the issue, even for a kid's show.

While I'm glad they did get the message across that talking to an adult (or anyone for that matter, since Sweetie Bell did suggest they talk to non-Apple family members Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash since Scootaloo and Applebloom were so against talking to Applejack) is the best way to deal with it and that fighting back is a bad idea since it just perpetuates the cycle of bullying, it only shows one potential reason/source for bullying (two if you want to count Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara just being mean for absolutely no reason.)

I know they have to make bullying a simple concept to understand for kids, but so much was cut in favor of making it easy to digest. It might make it harder for kids who aren't in that same type of bullying situation to understand what's happening to them.

tl;dr: Good effort, I'm glad that even MLP isn't staying silent on this issue, but it could've done better on the delivery.

I agree on the fact that the whole, "Just tell someone about the bullying and they'll stop it," thing here. You can't solve problems just by tattle-telling. (Plus, what the CMC's did in the end wasn't tattle-telling. They confessed their feelings (both to Bab's and AJ) and what they did wrong rather than going on and on about the bad things others have done.
Aaaaand a lot of other stuff too..but I'm to lazy to post any more and plus I can't get it to sound nearly as professional as yours, Rainbow. XD

Hey guys! \^-^/

Rainbow Dash, I totally agree with you. I think that they did a good job at getting the point across, though. I thought that the mane (haha, ha, ha...) point of the episode was to prevent retaliation against bullies. It was totally a stereotypical version of bullying but I think that it got the point across that 'bullying is wrong'. I thought it was great how they included the part about going to somebody trusted, though. Kids never do this no matter how much they're told, so let's hope that our awesome ponies have set a good example. xD

Just listened to Daddy Discord twice, at first, it was creepy, second, cute and creepy at the same time. How-why-who-awufhghuwae, this is getting to me. I might not listen to that for a few weeks....

Well...I though the episode was a bit different in comparison to past episodes. Perhaps because it involved the CMC, and they hadn't been seen (playing the mane role) in a while. I really don't know what I thought of it. The GAPM (Great and Powerful Mana) shall return to POST LATER! -fireworks and trumpet sounds as I VANISH >:D-

I is confuzzled. So any spoilers on the day of the episode has to be small, correct? But if there's also a rule of no small print after YouTube, they cancel each other out. Example:

Italics mean small font during this time.
DAY OF EPISODE: 8:00 AM-9:00 AM-12:00 PM-2:00 PM-4:00 PM-6:00 PM-8:00 PM-10:00 PM
DAY OF EPISODE: 8:00 AM-YouTube-9:00 AM-12:00 PM-2:00 PM-4:00 PM-6:00 PM-8:00 PM-10:00 PM

On an unrelated note, you say Mod Apps are open? Where?

Hello! My name is Carrie T. Carrot. My favorite character is Rarity. I also like Octavia, Vinyl Scratch, Queen Chrysalis, Trixie and Luna. I enjoy doing/looking at MLP everythings xD. I have pony merchandise. I have four of the main six toys, a G1 Applejack toy that my Mum used to have but she gave to me, and I'm getting more for Christmas! I asked for a Trixie thing and a Queen Chrysalis thing from my Mum.
