So guys, I was thinking of going out and buying a new Pokemon game, but I don't know what to buy... Suggestions? And no Mystery Dungeon or Rangers, I just want the original games.

I would get Diamond if I were you since underground has more rarer pokemon fossils or I would get Soul Silver. or even Emerld like said before and @ shattered soul: I might join it. It sounds interesting.

I have Soul Silver, but with your suggestions can you tell me what region it's from? I really like the first two regions, so if they are Kanto or Johto, I like them.

@Snowballz is Epic, I agree with Forgotten. However I'd personally get Emerald instead. It has much better frontier for when you complete the game. {I love the battle dome lol}

Also, would anyone join a pokemon rp{Based of the shadow series} if I made one? I need plot ideas and such aswell, allthough I was thinking that the main shadow would be either Zekrom and Reshiram, or Kyogre and Groudon. Also I'd like to have only five people be part of it as I prefer smaller roleplays. Maybe there'd be some sort of group of shadow hunting trainers.

Yes DSLite hase a Gameboy slot, and no, pikachu isn't a starter. the starters are Treeko, Mudkip, and Torchick.

You should get Firered or Leafgreen, they're re-makes of the (Johto?) region ^^ Firered and Emerald are some of my favorites

uh, im so peed off at my sapphire game ._.
I got the ROM for my computer, and right now im suppose to go to new mauville and turn off the power, which is a "small surf away from route 110" . So to get surf, I need to go fight my dad ( the fith gym leader) and then Wally's dad comes in, and brings me to his house and gives me surf. I fought my dad in the game, and wally's dad didn't come. ._.
and now i have no possible way to get BACK to petalberg. Mr.briney went somewhere unknown, so i cant ask him for help. -_- and if I do want to get to petalberg, I need to surf. but I don't have surf. 8D

In my saphire I actually had to walk to his house to get it, and I have the gbacard for it... if that helps lol.
