woo today has been a day, my dad took me out to go hit up some pokestops, tho not nearly as many as last time and i didnt get very many pokeballs buT!! i hatched a 5 km egg!! i was hoping for a charmander (which yes, i know its 2 km eggs but at the time i forgot) and got a 302 cp lickitung. i also evolved a couple of pokemon for xp since i had tons of candy for weedle and caterpie and didnt rly care abt powering them up unlike my current faves and got 3k exp ayyy. OH and i decided on impulse "lets get a vaporeon, dont bother saving candy theyre everywhere" and powered it up a bit and just. look at that stardust go away :""). i also caught anoTHER/??? tauros?? heck yeah man im on a roll for being lvl 9, almost lvl 10, just 105 more exp to g o :')))

Yes, but as stated before in this thread, it's not a good idea to spend Stardust when you're level 15 or less

*thinks of all the stardust i spent on my jolteon* *s w e a t s* ive spent so much stardust i remember havin like 60 at one point oh man. i am not good at saving stardust at all. im the impulsive stardust spender tbh. ill see i have enough for just one power up and ill do it,,,

EDIT; TFW YOU CATCH A RATTATA FOR THE 3768TH TIME AND YOU REALIZE YOU HAVE ENOUGH CANDIES TO EVOLVE IT AND LVL UP!!!!!!!!

What's the coolest thing you guys have found unexpectedly, in real life, while playing the game? I found out that one of my neighbors has a "mini-library" outside of their house! It has three shelves worth of various books and you're invited to borrow one. I found a Pidgey there and named her Bookshelf in honor of the occurrence. XD

Hm, I was going to join Instinct but I didn't. I'm teamless right now, and I'm actually curious what happens if you stay teamless forever. Is anyone else experimenting with this?

Fun fact, I got into Pokémon around 2003 at my cousins' houses (first game was the original Sapphire =D) and my favorite thing about Pokémon Go is that it's now socially acceptable to talk about Pokémon when beforehand I wouldn't bring it up because people would bother me about it hahaha

living in a pretty big city means pokestops lead me to some interesting places (discovered some neat
street art and graffiti that i hadn't noticed before), and that i always have an overload of eggs and items ;v;

spun two 10k eggs today, here's hoping i'll get something good \o/

I am Galaish on Pokemon Go I FINALLY got to level 24, started day one pokemon go was available-and had no clue and wasted alot of stardust and lucky eggs! I LOVE THE pokevision.com map, but rarely find anything much as I am in a rural area, so jealous of those in Cali!

Leveling up Pokemon is different in the app, you don't power them up by battling. Instead you go onto the Pokemon's page and right above the evolve button is the power up button. Thanks for the info. I'd forgotten about that. now to patiently wait till level 15 before I spend stardust. and evolve.

Lucky, I'm only level 8. There is only 3 pokestops in my neighborhood and there not even that close. But, 1 is only 2-4 minute walk + a gym right next to it.
I do love how there is this one park with tons of pokestops and so many people are there at night.

Made level 10 this morning. 5mins away (by vehicle) I have a fair amount of pokestops and I have a good system in place for walking around town to hit them all, or at least most of them. If I time it right in the evening I can go where a few people stop and lure the two side by side 'stops. Of course I have way to many items so am only spinning for xp's. I hatched a 5km one and got a Oddish-.-! Ok the CP weren't bad, but still. I was hoping for something else, Growlithe or Ponyta would have been nice. Interesting thing is I did catch a Primeape today, though strangle I haven't even seen a Mankey yet. Tuesday I'm heading in to the city and to the big park we have. I hope to catch some nicer and different pokemon.
