because i got roped into drama on tumblr and im also curious -

what do you guys think of joshler/people who ship joshler?

if you do ship it, what are your opinions on people who attack jenna/attacked debby and halsey because they were "in the way" of the ship? what do you think of the people who ignore "canon" in favor of joshler?

if you don't ship it, what do you think of people attacking younger members of the clique who are all "omg joshler yes tøp xD jenna is in the way of my otp!!!1!!!" instead of letting them naturally learn and develop their own opinions? what are your opinions on the general culture of the people who ship it?

I do ship them lightly (Kind of, I don't at all expect them or 'want' them to get into a relationship or anything, I just like how similar and how halarious they are together, so I don't 'really' ship them) but I think it's terrible that people attack Jenna who is obviously very dear to Tyler just so they can achieve their otp. I just think it'd be cute but right now Tyler is married so I think it's totally rude for some of those avid joshler shippers to attack Jenna who has done nothing wrong.

I ship them like "Awh what a cute ship" but I don't ship them s hard as Brendon Urie and Dallon Weekes. But honsetly I think it's stupid that people attack each other about the ship and its just rude to be mean to Jenna and everyone else because their perfect OTP won't work out if they're there. It's a stupid thing but the ship its self is fine. I'm just trying to keep myself away from the fanfics

i myself don't ship them at all. seeing people doing that really makes me angry, to the point where i become irate, so i normally steer away from it. i couldn't tell you why it pisses me off, but it does. jenna means so much to tyler, and for people to disregard his feelings and try and force a different relationship on him is honestly gross to me and i just ugh. it just rubs me the wrong way, and i believe that they (tyler and josh) deserve for their own wishes to be respected instead of having opinions forced on them and i juST AHHH

edit; that being said, i don't disrespect those who do ship it, so long as they don't try to force it on me. i am a very firm believer that everyone in the world is entitled to do/believe/think/feel whatever they want, and this situation does not change that <3

i ship it, but kind of in an AU way. like, i know that jenna means so so much to tyler and i would never ever want anything to happen to break them up because honestly i ship them p hard too. so, like, i ship it but i don't want it to happen because right now they're both happy and satisfied with where they are in life, and i would never want anything to change that. really, i mostly ship it as a brotp. like they have such a beautiful friendship and that's rlly cool.
and really i ship debby and josh harder than anything and i feel so bad for them because that was a really hard situation but that's an entirely different topic
also people need to chILL about it like shipping celebrities aggressively is so dumb because they are REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL LIVES AND YOU NEED TO RESPECT THAT SMH

talking about the members of the clique who attack other members for shipping joshler, or whatever other reasons they might give for being rude to someone, honestly the clique needs to calm down. they aren't hurting you. they aren't hurting anyone, or doing anything that is that problematic. just take a deep breath and stop being so dramatic, my frens. in the grand scheme of things, it matters not who other people ship or don't ship or support or don't support. it matters not.
