It really amazes me how everyone is really obsessed with the meanest character in all of fiction ever (Dave).

Sorry guys, but I just don't get your obsession. Could someone explain it??????

*shrug* i completely acknowlege how he can be a huge di— uh, jerk, but i dont really consider him that mean (in my opinion, of course). every character in homestuck has been contemptible at some point, and in some cases that's a lot.

anyway, i relate to him too much for my own good — a facade of confidence/egocentricity to hide the actuality of the opposite, using crude jokes/humor so much, hiding emotions behind a wall of "irony" (but it's not real irony, ironically)

i could keep going, but anyway, my personal admiration for dave has to do with relation to him and why he acts the way he does, first and foremost

this is also kind of behind. but i have no idea which character i'm most like, i kind of act different in front of everyone and i'm really really moody and spazzy. like mituna. but without the swearing and name-calling.
i really have no set personality, so cosplaying doesn't connect : (
