Do you have a system for what you write down, or do you just hash out notes based on what you think is important? Also, do you have any good ideas of how to start? The book I have is based off of a rune class the author gives, but I've haven't gotten the chance to look in depth at her organization.

Create what Wiccans (and most pagans) call A Book of Shadows. Pretty much it is all of your notes and comments on different subjects

Thanks for the suggestions. (: I think I'll go with what you said, SongBird -- just writing down the meanings. I'll probably write down the techniques, too, just so I'll have it in case my brain ever goes blank or something.

I have my own set of runes and tarot cards...

Sadly, I don't have any runes yet. I'd like to make my own out of deer antlers, but the ones I could have access belong to my father. He'd also have to help me make them. He's also the only member of my immeadite family who doesn't know that I'm Pagan. I might be able to make some out of wood with my fiance, though, if he has a wood burner. I really want to make my own runes instead of buying them, but if it comes down to that I probably will just get them online.

How do you meditate? I tried it once and asked who was my patron, and I got the word Hecate. I don't know if it actually worked, but how do you meditate properly, I don't think I did it.
