Found out the server my friend made me join allows PvP.
You have no clue how unhappy I am. :/ They don't allow griefing but people barging into our house and murdering us along with taking our stuff on hand is okay. The rules state no stealing. So they can't take anything from our chest, but taking things on person is allowed?
All I want is a server me and my friend can play on. We (At least I) want to do survival without PvP. I wouldn't even mind a server where survival was played together. Just no PvP, and no griefing.
I would make our own server but it won't work. :V

@Jaded: Most servers that I've heard of allow PvP. You just have to learn to make traps and whatnot - some servers are decent about it. If you join a Bukkit server that has the Towny plugin, you can toggle PvP in your towns.

Plus I'm not very fond at traps. I prefer digging. My friend tried to redstone our doors to have levers and I removed them because I despised them.

But it's the same two to three people doing it. They wear white armor and have diamond swords. Then they stay at my house and when I try to spawn back they kill me. Then they come back when it seems I'm doing something important and kill me again.

I'd prefer if they had a set world/area for PvP, which they have some arenas but that's it.

And I'm not sure if they do have towns that you can toggle PvP, but all I know is they run on economy. Not sure how to make money though, but to buy a 'plot' in the city it costs quite a bit.

Okay, ignore what I've been saying about the server. :'D I need to port-forward, which requires finding the DNS name thingies, and I can't get to where I need to go to get those on this computer. *failsforever*

I'll try again some other day, maybe. \D (I'm getting a computer of my own at some point soonish, so I should be able to actually, y'know, do stuff on it.)

Wishing you luck on working a server rockpup. I still don't get how I ever made one.

Anyway I have no idea what is going on... Lol completely forgot minecraft official is out and have not updated. Been stuck on skyrim. I'll prob update when I get home from Argentina to see whats going on, then update the server and finally see if it all works. Then toki, maybe can get the old one going if everyone's got their own places here now.

That's if I remember again I hope. Almost vacation time at least even if I got emergency clinic and lab research externship to do.
