I've talked about this on this thread before, but has anyone heard of a game called Solatorobo? It has animated opening cutscenes - made by Madhouse, creators of Death Note. Also, according to a trailer, Attack on Titan is made by the same company as Death Note, so I think that might be made by Madhouse as well... Anyway, it's a DS game, so the dark themes are undertones rather than being in-your-face.

Am I the only one who plays the Harvest Moon games? The anime art style is amazing and they're always so detailed~

(This is excluding the first few games, they were quite simple and the art style wasn't detailed at all because, you know, SNES' and Gameboys are very 8-bitty)

I decided to buy Animal Crossing so I don't have Harvest Moon, but I'm a fan of the Layton games, which also have such scenes and there is also a nice movie.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

Should we make a thread for anime-games? Not, like, a club or anything, just a general discussion.

I Stole borrowed my friend's Tale of two Towns game for about 3 hours one day, and it did seem pretty cool, but I haven't gotten a game myself. More of a dungeon crawler/ JRPG kinda gal

Nitro- That'd be a good idea.

Hey there, didn't see you there. I'm Flavio, but you can call me GV or Meichi. I'm here, queer, and I overslept. I'm only here to RP really (I'm in the process of giving away like 90% of my pets so if you want some oldies hit me up yo) but if you like Etrian Odyssey, Azure Striker Gunvolt, or Fire Emblem, hit me up man, we're probably set to be best friends.
    Also, Roy's my boy

I love TToTT! I chose Bluebell because I like the design and all the cute fuzzy widdle animals :3

EDIT: I'll make the thread if you'd like, I have spare time now, so I don't mind.

Gosh that's a Scary thought..... Kill la Kill, made by Americans!? *Chill goes up spine* ehhhhh.... Americans don't quite do things the same way the Japanese do. They tried with things like Teen Titans and Avatar, and while they were good, you could tell they were American (Well at least with Teen Titans, Nick did a pretty skippy job with Avatar). I'd reitterate more, but it's clear - We all have things we do best, leave weird cartoons to America, and Anime with Japan
