Day 4 is over. Time for the main tasks.

Big tasks:
There are two main tasks for this event. One for an artist and one for a writer.
Artists task: Draw a picture of the jousting tournament. This picture has to contain some important points:
- Full body, please
- It’s up to you if you show one or two riders
- Medieval clothes
- Include a background
It’s up to you if you draw this picture traditional or digital. But please take care about the quality if you choose the traditional way. (-> rules!)
Points: 1-10
Writers task: Write a story about the tournament. Please consider the following points:
- 5.000 words minimum
- The story should be about you or your team
- weather will be warm and sunny
- Death and I will not take part. The two ladies of the Meadows are just watching the jousting

Welcome to Day X!

Today (and eventually tomorrow, too) I’ve got a lot of things for you. I hop you enjoy this little “party”.
Maybe the best would be if I give you a quick overview, first.

Day X contents:
1) Guest artists
2) Dun contest
3) Two competitions
4) Three lions gifts


Just scroll down to those things which are interesting for you.

1) Guest artists.
First: Great thanks to Schneemaehne and Lord Amazilion! They are the two guest artists I hired for this special day. Both of them made great designs. I hope you like their Narakari as much as I do.
You can find their designs in my artist zone. Some are for sale, some are gifts.

2) Dun contest. (art contest)
Narakari Meadows is searching for the most beautiful dun Narakari.
Chose your favourite one and draw it. It must not be your own one. If you choose the dun from another player please ask this person if he / she wants the dun to participate in this contest.
- Traditional art is equal to digital art as long as the quality is good enough. Blurred or dark pictures won’t get many points.
- Full body please
- This is some kind of beauty contest. Maybe you want to groom your favourite dun a little bit?
- All duns can participate. Tobianos, grullos, dunskins, whatever. The important thing ist that they are somehow duns.
Before you start to draw, please ask if the chosen Narakari is a dun. Ok, custom owners who ordered a dun before or those who are absolutely sure don’t have to ask. … What I want to say is that you should be careful. Don’t confound duns with buckskins e.g. You’ll worry a lot if you draw a great picture with high winning chances and there is no dun on it.
Deadline: September 19th, 12:01 a.m.
That’s all I think.

Is somebody missing the prizes? Ok, it won’t be that much fun without them. Of course you can win something.
First place wins a free custom slot plus one additional Narakari slot that has to be used for this custom.
The owner of the winning dun will get one additional slot, too.
No 2nd or third places, sorry.

3) Two competitions. (drawing and writing contest)
I promised you that there will be action, right? Well, here we go.
There are two competitions for you and your Narakari. There is only space for 7-14 participants. Every obstacle can just be chosen by one person. You have to draw and you can write for additional points.
Prizes: The first place of every discipline will get a free custom Narakari OR a free breeding slot plus three additional slots. No runner ups, sorry.
1st: Competitive trail. Below you see the little course with seven obstacles. If you want to participate, just choose one that hasn’t been chosen until now. This obstacle has to be on you picture! Therefore choose wisely.
Info for your entry: The trail will take place outside. Weather will be warm and sunny. Your rider has to wear a cowboy head.

2nd: Cross Country Race. Again I have a sketch with some obstacles for you. Of course the race is longer but those are the most important ones. The chosen obstacle has to be visible on your picture.
Info for the entry: Weather is warm and sunny. Your rider has to wear a helmet and a safety jacket.
Attention: If you chose obstacle number seven – the spider jump – you really should participate. This is my favourite obstacle and I really, really, really want to see it in the contest. Please, just for me.
I have a little sketch for you to show you how the spider jump might look like. As you can see you’ll face the huge beast before you jump over it.

How to enter?
You are allowed to enter one or both riding competitions. If you want to take part in only one, please just fill out the form below. Take care that nobody else has chosen “your” obstacle before.
If you want to participate in both, trail and cross country you have to draw for both contests. NO exceptions. I don’t want to see users reserving the obstacles without drawing for them. That won’t be nice to the others. It will be better if you just focus on one tournament instead of rushing through both ones. For two different disciplines you will need two different Narakari of course.
If you don’t have a Narakari yet, just let me know. I have some to lend.
You have to draw a picture, of course. Traditional art is as much worth as digital… you know the common rules, I think.
Additionally you can write a story about your contest experiences. It has to be at least 500 words long.
NO WIPs.
Pictures and stories will be rated with 1-10 points. Most points win.

4) Three lion gifts.
I have three lions for you. A red one, a black one and a gold one. Those mysterious gifts will appear at random times. Every lions wants to be free. Therefore it comes with an offer. If you let the lion go it has a gift for you. If you catch the lion it will be yours.
It’s just a little game and I hope you’ll have some fun. The game is over when all three lions are caught.
Please notice: You’ll get the gifts immediately. But the lions will reveal themselves at the end of this game. (Be sure, event the guest artists haven’t seen them until now;) )
If you don’t like your lion, please tell me. It will be a pity but in this case I think it will be the best if I care about it until next year.

Argh, I've been waiting for this day the whole time ever since you mentioned it, but I'm afraid I wasn't even at home D:
I was planning to, but my boyfriend took me on a date which turned out to be a concert (No, I'm not complaining. It might have caused me to miss the event's start, but dude I saw Slayer and Fear Factory and Anthrax and I'm happy and everything is great.), and well, I guess I'll have to take some time off tomorrow to properly go through everything and make my decisions for the contest x3

...That is, if I can actually choose one dun to draw xD They're ALL pretty <33

Also, I'd like to shout out a big thank you to Yama for Dēor <3 It's just too much of a coincidence that I was going to do a deer-themed Narakari and you happened to design one xD Also, the seed is strong :3


Oh, and of course I hope you guys will enjoy my designs x3 It was a lot of fun to make them, especially trying to get horse colour genetics into my head xD Good thing Yama isn't clueless like me, so I had a lot of help xD
