Is it just me, or do the new genes just look like a redone version of iridesent and shimmer? Or even that they took those two genes and took crystal and facet and just smashed them together. Cause it looks like crystal and facet, but with the smoothed out pattern of iridesent and shimmer.

Ooooohhhh, Metallic is so pretty!!!
I love that it doesn't have the gradient of Iridescent and makes the colors a more solid, darker color. That tends to be an issue with Iridescent for me, it just doesn't look good with all colors, now I can have shiny babes without that problem cropping up! Perfection!!!

Right now I'm digging the way it looks on Kastor and am making a mental note to get it for him one of these days. Can't wait to see how Alloy looks on him too!

When I first saw metallic on brown dergs, I thought of chocolate! The new gene makes them look so glossy and I bet hatcheries are going to dole out some sweet treats soon.


I also love the gene on the darker colours. Lighter colours are a bit drab, but look at copper!

Just hatched my Emperor's Heritage nest and got a baby SO CLOSE to my dream dragon. My dream dragon is lead iridescent/lead shimmer/blood smoke male imp. I got this girl. I'm gonna keep her and use her to breed my dream dragon since she's so close to what I want.
