The gathering has started and the Clans have quickly fallen into their usual groups, sometimes drifting away to interact with new cats. As the Clans started to settle down and get ready for the leader announcements, a group of strange cats prowled into the dimly lit clearing. The Clans were startled and awed by the beautiful and handsome cats that surveyed them all closely. The strangers caught wind of the large gathering and have decided to make their way into the crowd to mingle. They don't seem interested in much more than a fling, with quite a few of the strangers having already disappeared into the night when the conversations shared became too serious.

At every gathering, there will be a group of studs (male and female) for Clans to breed their cats with!

★ Each stud will have a maximum of 3 slots and each slot will be fcfs. All studs will have the same post amount requirements. A first slot will be 3 posts and a second slot will be 9 posts. A second slot can't be claimed until the Wednesday following the start of the gathering. On the last day of the gathering, a third slot will open and you will need to have 12 posts to claim it.

★ To enter for a slot, you will need to fill out the form included with each cat.

★ As usual, you will need to post in your next post that your cat is trying for kits with one of the studs. The queens will give birth in the normal amount of time. For Clans that stud with a female stud, you will receive the kittens three posts after you put in your post that your tom tried for kits with her. You will need to have a queen in your Clan to take care of the kits from a female stud.

★ If you want to breed a same-sex couple with one of the studs, you will need to state which cat in the couple will be bred.

★ Each artist will be bringing only one stud to the gathering. All studs will be posted on the first day of the gathering and no later.

★ NONE of the studs will be going to a Clan. After the gathering, they will be "retired" and may be used again at a later gathering.

★ Each stud will have their own individual form.

A young cat - fairly young, anyway, she can't be older than about 3 years, surely? - suddenly appears in front of your clan's cats, as they head home. Her jade green eyes are as hard as the rock, and fierce as an eagle, and her long tawny fur hangs half-way to the ground. She's tall, especially for a molly, tall enough to intimidate many toms, voice harsh as she liked, ranging from graceful as a deer to rough as a boar. Around her neck is a large golden plaque, with a thick collar of bright colour.
xxxxFor a moment she could be mistaken for the young of a lion, and surely she would have earned that name as a clan cat.
xxxxShe prowls forward, legs curled beneath her, and with her height, her eyes are still on level with most of the cats approaching her.
xxxx"How dare you enter my lands?" She doesn't walk like a normal cat. She moves like a billow of smoke across the ground, rolling forward at a precise pace, just too fast to outmanouevre after that ambush. "My mate, Prasutagus, left me this territory, and I will protect it."
xxxxThe other cats back away awkwardly, but she's stepped over to you. Somehow, at the same eye-level, she still seems to loom over you directly. You try to step back, but you can't. Your feet are locked in place. If anything, her eyes are more intimidating up close. They're like something the medicine cats describe seeing in the moonpool. Like she's very close to something spiritual, but not anything familiar.
xxxx"Your clans have expanded and they've encroached on my land. Maybe if my own tribe could be given enough strength I might form an alliance and allow you through, but certainly you won't be hurt if you come no further into my land." Is it just you, seeing the four jade-green lights behind her in the bushes appear? Wait, no, more, now you look closely. Since the last time she was at a gathering, she seems to have collected more followers, all with those same eyes... "I have no interest in hurting your clans, but with humans and their wasteful placement of food outside their nests, I don't need so much land as others, and I'm hardly being greedy to ask that my first mate's legacy be remembered, and his territory, too. We still need our land to eat and to keep ourselves safe."
xxxxHer intensity eases a little, and she draws back a little, her head slowly rotating around to get a look at you from multiple angles. She's just a little taller now that she's done that, still keeping much of her height restrained.
xxxx"Of course, I'm hardly one to deny allies either, and if your clan promised to not invade my territory again, I'd be happy to help your clan out a little. Oh? And you have to help me if any clan cats are bothering me too much, of course."
xxxxShe eases up again, almost smiling, whiskers twitching. For a moment, her whole demeanour changes. It feels more genuine, in a way... the threats were real, but this is more-so. There's a light side to her too. The collar shakes, her tail flicks, and her eyes are playful and cheeky.
xxxx"No, close up, I can see you're not a threat to me or my elder children." She glances behind her, at the two sets of jade-green eyes. "Honestly, you have more to gain from this allegiance than we would, but... the deal still stands." Her eyes gleam again, the fierce veneer returning at full forse. "And if you trespass a second time, Boudicca and her Iceni will be less forgiving."

xxxxWhile you get the impression she's probably a two-leg's farm-cat with an inflated sense of her own competence... it doesn't seem much inflated at all. You saw her claws flexing and the length of her teeth, and the lithe muscles beneath her long fur. She's definitely a competent fighter. Perhaps the offer should be considered...

When designing her kits, there is a chance of me designing custom stripes for them. I'll pick when to do this, but it'll likely be celtic-themed, while matching normal tabby patterns, if I choose to.

Fun fact I didn't realise about Boudicca; her name means Victorious/Effective. This is an ironic name choice by the creators of the World History franchise, and it really threw some theorisers off, as she was neither victorious, nor effective. She was very cool, though, and a rarely documented record of an ancient woman who was indisputably a great leader.

As the Clans begin to arrive at the Gathering, so too does Saffron, their tail flicking eagerly and their nose twitching at all the unfamiliar scents. They trot into the clearing, ready to introduce themselves to every cat they see, when a piece of advice they once received whispers in the back of their mind. Don't come on too strong. Let them come to you. Oh, right. Saffron pulls back quietly, though their eyes still glint with excitement that they try to hide by meticulously grooming their coat.

The strange loner who appeared at the Leaf-bare Gathering had everyone do a double take - some nearly believing a dog had joined the festivities with them. Who was this molly, and what was she doing here?

Angelica has the CAC-exclusive gene known as "tan", which exists on the same locus as agouti and gives a cat a tan underside, reminiscent of the same pattern that occurs in dogs. This gene is not locked to a specific colored coat and will appear on all colors.
