Okay so anyone be interested in a roleplay where the characters are based off songs? There'd be seven slots (four female, three male) and you could choose what song they'd be based off. I'd provide forms (they'd be really short though; just a few basics) and the literacy would be about two paragraphs (eleven lines) each post, but of course you'd be allowed to post more. I just want it to be active. The plot would be a group of friends who go on a camping trip or something. It would be realistic. If anyone can think of a better plot though, please tell me. To be honest I just want a semi-lit, active, realistic group role play with characters based off songs.

in a dystopia, the government doesn't bother to hide or be stealthy unless needed. everyone wealthy never wears anything that isn't colorful because dye is expensive, so common/middle class people only wear dark colors. people have learned to fear cars, because usually only wealthy people can have them, and they are all brightly colored. all the towns are middle class and falling in ruin, and dark and gloomy but the center city where the wealthy and the govt live; its colorful and lit up and such. and the roleplay would be focused on some young adults trying to "rebel" but they're not really a team or anything. and getting tangled up with rich young adults, some who follow them around; out of haughtiness and some who had no idea of what the govt was doing or such.

the idea is these "rebels" aren't organized enough to really be rebels, they're just young adults with their own personal agendas and revenge. for instance, there's an orphan, a bounty hunter, etc. all oppressed. the rich kids meet them upon accident; some who are fully on board with the government oppressing the people, and some who are too sheltered to know whether or not what they're being fed is true.

this is almost like forbidden romance without the romance part; basically a group of wealthy kids going against their parents wishes to associate with them, for whatever reason. It could be because they like annoying the kids, or because they want to escape their sheltered lifestyle. like the greasers and the rich gang, except not quite gangs.

I know I usually don't go through w/ my ideas [lack of interest, losing interest in the idea, being too lazy and uninspired, being too busy… whatever the reason is] but I'm thinking of seriously following through on this one BECAUSE I really really love it. Anyway, hear me out.

The idea for the RP came out of this post that I saw on tumblr. As far as I know, Groot issss part of a few comics published by Marvel, but that doesn’t really matter, because this RP won’t be connected to the character or the comics at all.

The idea is that our characters are given the task of manipulating an element, but not in the usual way that is seen in other RPs. They won’t be able to spawn water or fire out of thin air, or make plants grow super fast so that they can be used as weapons... rather, they’d have smaller abilities, like sensing heat or speeding up plant growth a little. Their main, actual, task, would be to raise these small creatures into powerful elemental titans. Basically, if they got the element of earth, they’d get to raise a little sapling into a giant plant monster. The same would go for the rest of the elements; tending for their little... alien baby things, and turning them into something giant and monstrous over time.

Then they have wacky adventures aka I haven’t actually thought of the rest of the plot.
