Regarding the whole name thing, I personally never see the issue with having multiples in a species with thy same name. There are people all over with the same name and it never is a problem. Plus once a species gets so large, finding unique names can become difficult. And what if a desired name, perhaps with very special meaning, is "taken"? I can see the common courtesy in checking with the owner of the first character with that name, but I don't see it to be a necessity. (Yes, I understand the practice within the plumerian community, I'm just starting my opinion.
Was the first plumie you won your dream plumie at the time?
Definitely. Gambel was and is my perfect boy for me. Even more perfect than the plumie I had been trying out for which I won the RU (#158).
