i personally prefer writing about my characters and developing their personalities to getting art of them, but part of that is because i don't have the funds to order art that often. or i just end up never getting the art i ordered. e__e''

Whether you draw them, buy art of them, or write about them in personal stories or roleplays, just simply using them shows you adore the character! Art personally helps me connect to a character more, but that's only because I'm a lazy writer >/u/<

I'm too cheap and picky 99% of the time to get art of my characters haha (usually if I want art of a character I draw it myself)
I don't think you need to buy a bajillion pieces of art to spoil a character! Not by any means! I personally think that a character that is constantly being developed and evolving is a well-treated character. Art isn't necessary.

Hello, everyone! I've just returned from camp, and I'm pretty desperate to get started on some more art.

So, what better to do so than to make a new human character? I need your help, though.
I'm looking for a color palette (any colors work, natural or unnatural), and if I decide to use the palette you suggest, I'll make a character for you as well (using whatever palette you may choose for yourself). I can't guarantee it will be finished soon, as commissions are first priority, but I'll do my best to finish it quickly as possible.

I don't roleplay, so buying art is one of the main things I enjoy about character collecting.
I think people can use their characters however they like, really.
