I have a fair amount of characters, and they're all kind of scattered around. I feel bad if I forget them, so I'd like to make a site to store all their art/info. I'm fairly picky with how sites look and such, and I'm hesitant to sign up for something that I'm not going to end up using. So, do you have any site recommendations to store characters?

To be honest, if you just want to store characters, there's really no better site than toyhou.se

When uploading a character or art, you put in all the credits. The credits are stored on the site in a way that if you ever sell or trade the character, all the credits remain in place.

There's unlimited art space (as opposed to charahub which has a limit on the number of art pieces you can upload)

Using a website like weebly for example has a lot more customization, obviously. If you want to be able to arrange the page and make it look pretty on toyhou.se you need CSS knowledge. But wasn't made for characters - there's no tagging system, no easy way to keep track of credits, etc.

Personally, though, I find it such a hassle to make my weebly all pretty and uniform that I end up procrastinating when it comes to updating it. Toyhou.se's simplicity is great in that sense - uploading a new character takes all of 5 minutes at most.

So I'm in the process of moving everyone onto my toyhou.se account and when that's done I plan to just keep all my stuff there.

I'll probably keep backup art on weebly or in my sta.sh but toyhou.se is the best social place for this kind of thing.

I use weebly, since I cant code, and hated Charahubs limits. Their questions part was great though! Would love to try a toyhouse if I find a code, or when it leaves beta xD Until then, weebly all the way. I hate charrie threads on CS, as they end up just being so long to scroll through. Have seen a few well coded ones though where each charrie has an image link on the first post

I've been using weebly and while it's nice to have a website for them it honestly has a lot of downfalls and is RIDICULOUSLY time consuming and exhausting to update.

I've been too busy to get very far on my toyhou.se account, but it is literally the best place to store characters.
Plus it's a space dedicated to characters, character roleplays, and character sales/trading so it sort of is the trifecta of character heaven xDD

Definitely recommend it if you can snag a code <3

You can use stash to store characters, probably not ideal but its something.
Weebly is great too, lot of coding tho and pretty slow imo if ur a mobile user like me.

I use a character thread here, since I don't have many active characters, but I'm actually in the process moving them all to toyhou.se, which seems hella great so far, they even have watermarks, bless them. :,). Like temp I def rec getting a TH code since it seems pretty g8 so far.
