You can try downloading the paw pads app, or you can search "furry meetups near me" and meet some furries there!

If there are any cons near you those are great as well. The smaller ones especially are usually full of locals who you can ask about meets and stuff, because not everything is easy to find online. Also just a small tip that bowling meets are really fun and also seem to be pretty common, I know there are atleast 3 in my area. Plenty of cool people to meet in and out of suit.

Please be careful and don't meet up with them WITHOUT someone you trust and who can help you get out of a bad situation such as a parent or older sibling/cousin. I suggest looking up telegram furry chats including your state name. I'm pretty sure each state has at least one telegram chatroom.

Yeah I always would. Meeting strangers is not a good idea. I don't live in the states, which is why I have such a problem finding other furries, as the states has the most furry cons and meetups

That's really helpful, thanks! There is a con about 30 minutes from my house but I'm not sure about it considering I haven't found any videos about it and I'm most likely going to go to see a show on Broadway during those dates. I don't really know any furries in my area either, most people despise them where I live Hopefully I can find some meetups near where I live ^.^

Edit: just looked it up and there is a meet up in my area! Yay! I can't make it the next meeting but hopefully the one after that

Just be careful especially if you're a minor, make sure you have your guardians with you! While I've never had any of my friends encounter a dangerous group, they do exist. Stay safe at the meet ups and make sure you only visit public places! This way, if you feel like you're in trouble (and you didn't bring someone along like everyone suggests) you can easily tell the employees to keep an eye on you or get you out of that situation. Be sure to stay safe, and be sure to have fun!
