Oh, cool! ^^
One more thing I'd like to do if I have the time is to finish "The Smugglers". It and "Marco Polo" are the only stories I haven't watched ... "watched" yet, so that would be a great way to wrap up the day, I think. I would do "Marco", but I'm being a stubborn optimist and holding out on it in the hopes of the episodes being found someday so my first experience of the story can be actually watching it. Out of all the missing stories, "Marco" was the one with the most prints made, so there is actually reasonable cause to believe it's still out there somewhere, if it hasn't been found already and just not announced yet. Honestly, with 63 single episode prints having been made (nine copies of the seven-part story), it's a wonder nothing at all is known to have been found yet when other stories that had far fewer copies made still exist in their entirety!
On the topic of missing episodes, have any of you seen or are planning to see the "Power of the Daleks" animation? (If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, they've made an animated version of "Power of the Daleks", Patrick Troughton's first story, to celebrate this being its 50th anniversary year. It's currently available to download for UK residents through the BBC Store, was shown in US cinemas on November 14th, and is airing on BBC America. It's a big deal because it's the first time they've ever animated a full missing story -- the only ones so far with official animations have been stories with at least half of the episodes found -- and while sadly it's a sure sign that they haven't been able to find any existing episodes of "Power" yet if they went ahead and commissioned an animation, it does mean that more missing stories may be animated in the future if this one is well-received. c:)
I really want to watch it, but I haven't had the chance yet. xP I'm not in the UK, I couldn't see it in the theater because there wasn't a showing near enough for me to get to, and I can't see it on BBC America because I don't have cable, so I get to wait for the DVD: I'm planning to get the Barnes & Noble exclusive one that's coming out in January because it has both black & white and color versions.
