I have to say the same about characters who self-harm. They're always made out to be whiny and... I don't know. They're all static, like the fact they cut is their only personality trait.

I have two characters who self-harm. One does it because he's schizophrenic and thinks the only way to get certain hallucinations to go away is to carve runes into his stomach. But the other one is looked over in his family, brooding and asocial. It's an attention disorder for him.

Form:
Username: |Dark•Killjoy| Call me Dark though :3
Favorite type of RP: I play most RP's, though even I have to admit that I tend to linger around the Human/Humanoid forum! My current favourite type of roleplay is a Hunger Games based one, due to my current Hunger Games obsession. However, my other preferred roleplays are anything encompassed by: Vampires (not-Twilight); Werewolves; Post-Apocalyptia; Skyrim; Wild Horses; LOTR. Other than that hit me with anything! I'm always up for new genres to try!
Roleplay sample: Sample One -> Hunger Games Roleplay.
Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: Currently, none.

Hey quys, I have a question for you!

I am thinking of opening a writing shop. That is, a shop where you can either pay in pets or items for a me to write a character description, personality, or history, based on points you give me.
( So, if you want a character that is sweet, funny, and playful, but don't want to add the details, I would write up that description for you. Same with the history. Give me a general idea, and I will write up the paragraph or two that it requires.)

I was also thinking I could do something with pre-made characters, as well as generic, pre-made plots.

Would any of you be interested in potentially purchasing work from a shop like that? Also, would there be anyone else interested in helping me with it?

I've never played a character with any sort of condition until now, and only have one. I just feel like I'm gonna mess it up and offend somebody /:
I've also n[ever had a character that self harmed, since it seems a touchy subject

@Aquarius: I wanna call you aqua. .-. Anyways, I don't think I'd use it all that much >.< I mean, I can see others using it, but some people do have their preferred way of writing c: that and then you have to give credit for the writing and all. I'd rather it be my own words :P

Nicely said d: I have to agree with you on that... When I have a charater, I want to be the one to have created them. Like abandoned said, it has to be your own words, or what really defines him/her to be yours?

Feel free to call me Aqua, if you really want to (: I don't mind what you call me, as long as it's not "Typical"

I've heard a few people say that they really hate making certain parts of the form, so that is why I am thinking about this.
Not only that, but we've all had that roleplay that we REALLY want to join, but we just don't have the time to make a character. If someone else could write a history, or a physical description, that takes out a big chunk of time.

I do value your guys' opinions though! I don't want to set this all up just to have it not go anywhere (:

I would also offer this, of course, to literate and illiterate writers. It might have a bit more success with those who aren't as literate as all of us, too.

It is a delicate subject. It just means you have to write with a purpose. There's no point in tip toeing around things like that.
