I have watched up to: I'm nearly finished season two (not the really early ones), I just watched the ones with the big demon monster thingy and the black hole. I can't remember the name.

Hey everyone!
Very recently I went down to Cardiff to see the Doctor Who Experience and I 100% recommend it. It's a lot of fun and you may spend all of your savings in the gift shop (xD). They have a lot of costumes and TARDIS interiors and exteriors from each Doctor and it's really cool! I also just heard that they've just started filming in Cardiff with Pearl Mackie (new companion).

Hi. I was Wren, I joined like two posts ago. XD
Anyway, I had another Doctor Who day today, and now I'm up to season three! Martha is great, I think I like her better than Rose. We got up to the episode where the guy makes himself young again, but mutates.

But man... The season two finale. I cried man. Good bye, Bad Wolf. Good bye.

We also watched the runaway bride, and it kinda annoyed me how quickly after he said goodbye to Rose the Doctor tried to get Donna to job him. Idk, but I did enjoy it. (Donna is so annoying. XD I've heard she's better as a companion though.)

But yeah. I'm really enjoying Martha!

@rezberri: Aww, that sure sounds like a lot of fun! I'm over here in America and practically broke, so I don't see myself managing a trip across the pond any time soon, but I've been wanting to visit the UK for a while now and really hope I'll have a chance to stop by Cardiff sometime. ^^ Did you get anything at the gift shop?


@Wren/Bad Wolf: Glad you're enjoying the show so far! I'm not personally a huge fan of Martha, but I could see why some people really like her. I do feel the same about her being better than Rose, at least. :)

I think my favorite episode from season 3 would be "Utopia." It's the first episode of the three(!)-part finale and so exciting and fast-paced towards the end that I actually felt really disoriented for a few moments when the credits came on and reminded me that I was still sitting in my living room watching TV and not running with the Doctor in the middle of the action on a distant future planet. Like, no exaggeration: I quite honestly forgot it was just a TV show for a bit there, it was so gripping. And that cliffhanger ... I don't know if it has the same effect on everyone or if I'm just a weirdo with a tendency to get way too caught up in fictional stories, but I'd love to hear what you think of that episode when you get there!

Haha, yeah, Donna seems to be one of those love-'em-or-hate-'em characters. xD I'm on the "love 'em" side, myself, and find her to be sooo funny. For a while, she was my #1 favorite companion, and although she's dropped down a little on my list since then, she's still one of only two new series companions that I've truly liked thus far, the other being Jack Harkness.

Utopia sounds awesome! Hopefully I'll get to the end of season 3 by the next Doctor Who day in have with my friend (we kinda binge it once every few weeks. The least we've watched in one day is nine episodes. XD) So far, I don't think I like season finales. The season 1 finale wasn't so bad, but it was sad to see Christopher Eccleson go.

Is it strange, that when I started watching it, and the first episode, when the Doctor grabbed Rose's hand, my first though was, "That's not the Doctor." I've been really used to seeing David Tennent and Matt Smith around as the Doctor, that Christopher Eccleson wasn't the Doctor for me. XD
But by the end of a few episodes I loved him. And by the end of the season I was really sad to see him go. But now I like David Tennent a lot. XD

I don't really feel like I can pick a favourite companion yet, because I hardly know Martha and Rose is really the only companion I know well. XD so I'm kinda biased. But I am looking forward to seeing Donna join the Doctor.

And one last thing, I changed my signature. Now I'm going to leave because I feel like that was long and somewhat all over the place. XD
