Favorite type of RP: Mostly human roleplays. Open to most sorts of roleplays(human or not doesn't really matter, though I don't like roleplaying cats), but I do prefer fantasy/sci-fi/fiction genres in general over realistic rps. I'm a bit of a sucker for roleplays that involve wolves or dogs, and I'm quite fond of joining dragon related rps.
(though I haven't found a good wolf (or dog) roleplay for quite some time.....:'( )
Roleplay sample:I don't know what I should put here really, but I'll put several different sorts of stuff up I suppose.
Sample 1: Smirking she said, "Better to be dragged in by a cat than dragged in by c**p; stinking ant that you are.", Clairna gave Taylor an equally venomous glare, and at the blood comment she shook her head, "No, not usually, unless my split personality is the cause of it, I am not particularly fond of stepping on my handiwork when I don't remember doing it." Taylor would know about Clairna's other side, the top three important people in either clan were always informed of her bipolarness, well, whenever one of those ranks got filled or replaced at least.
Listening to what Taylor had to say, though really only so she could have a bit of fun talking to the girl, Clairna replied, "I seem to be getting the impression that you wish for me to be one of those that dies. Unfortunately for you, I do not have the disease." She smiled at Taylor, these two were fun to mess with.
"And no s*** Sherlock yourself, it only affects thieves,
of course only thieves will die."
Lilly's reaction was so delicious, she'd successfully broken the girl, Clairna now had a beaming smile on her face, she snickered slightly, trying not to burst out laughing from her happiness at Lilly's distraughtness.
Still with that beaming smile written across her face Clairna said sweetly, almost purring, "Oh, nothing of your concern," to Taylor.
"Oh and of course I know you were worried, but being worried isn't a valid argument as to you not being selfish, of course you were worried; worried that your chance of getting Shadow to love you back was lost. That's why you want to apologise too because you want an oppurtunity to try and get him to love you, it's all about you and your selfish desire to have Shadow all to yourself."
Now she had an oppurtunity to break Taylor too, she stayed silent for a minute, increasing the suspense, making the information invisibly become more precious, and make Taylor more desperate to get the information, which makes it easier to manipulate people's minds, and shock them more, when they are desperate, or have some other form of mental instability.
"On life support." Clairna slowly told Taylor, "He won't wake, not for a few days, and by then he might be dead."
"You will know better than most people, that the chances of being able to talk to him before he dies is so very slim."
Pausing briefly again Clairna said in a solemn voice, "You will never be able to say sorry....He will die without you being forgiven..."
She left out the fact that she was about to head off to find the cure, so she had a chance yet, but Taylor could find that out in her own time.
Still she purposely left out were Shadow exactly was.
Oh this slightly made up for the rest of the day Clairna was having.
This first sample of writing is from an actual post of mine I did recently;
here is the link to the original post of mine, I did fix a couple of spelling mistakes that I have now noticed, but they're only slight mistakes like one or two typos.
Sample 2:He dreaded them getting the ropes, if they tied his hands together, then his shoulder wound would badly reopen again, and then if he didn't die of blood loss, he'd probably die of a bad infection, as already the bandages around his shoulder, which weren't protected by clothing, were getting grubby.
A man came over and abruptly pulled his arms back, tightly tying the rope around his hands, his shoulder wound, as he predicted, ripped open with the movement, he almost screamed with the pain, as his shoulder wound had already become more sensitive, and more painful because of the adrenalin rush that masks a lot of pain, wasn't there anymore.
He did gasp slightly, trying not to pass out from the amount of pain he felt.
Blood started painting the bandages red, and when they soon got soaked, blood started to drip from the bandages, down into the dirt. Soon there was a bit of a puddle of blood under his shoulder, some of the men noticed and started talking to the more in command guy, they didn't know what to do to fix it, none of them knew that much sophisticated medicine, they did have someone who was medically skilled, but they were at base camp, treating several people, it was several days at least before they got to basse camp, and the male would probably die by then.
Shadow was zoning out, he couldn't concentrate on what they were saying anymore, he was brought out of his half daze when Raz was thumped down next to him, Shadow blinked in very mild suprise, then he heard her say something, "I was worried a selfish act from me not backing down would hurt others." he told her, though he didn't mention it was also because he thought of her as a friend, and he didn't want his friends to get hurt because of him.
Two of the men came over, one was the guy whom had talked to Shadow before, the one who was in charge sort of stood next to the two, while the other lifted Raz by the back of the shirt to sitting position.
"Can you fix that boy's injury?" asked the man, pointing to Shadow's bleeding shoulder, "If you can, we will release your bonds, and we will let you fix that shoulder of his, but you are not allowed to run off or we kill the boy. We don't want part of our merchandise to die, but we don't want the other part running away. If you run off, he'll be dying anyway, as we wouldn't be able to get him to someone who can fix him up in time before he dies from his injuries, so a quick death is better for him rather than a slow one, so we'd have to put the beast out of his misery if you run off, we'd be being merciful. We'd prefer it to have both merchandise though so if you can heal him, which I assume you can because who else bandaged him up in the first place, it would be nice of you to do so."
Giving a pause to catch his breath for speaking, as he had said a lot without taking much of a breath.
"So can you heal this boy and not run away?" the one that had talked to Shadow before was asking the questions, while the other one just held onto Raz so she remained sitting up.
She probably still thinks I'm the enemy, no way would she do that, sure she'll probably agree, but then she'll run away without doing anything, when your freedom is on the line most people would take freedom over willingly being captured. Shadow thought to himself, he sort of was relieved that they'd kill him quickly, as staying alive for a couple of days would be horrid; while he didn't fear death, he preferred dying quickly over having a slow, agonising death.
He didn't even consider the possibility of Raz fixing him up with some of the stuff they'd taken that they had left in the cave just a bit in front of where they were right now.
Another recent roleplay example from a different roleplay, original post
here.
And I'm
not advertising them or anything, merely showing where the two roleplay posts above are from.
Sample 3:(last one....I know it's a lot to read...Especially when it's not really 'pretty' at all(I mean the roleplay examples aren't pretty, I didn't mean the form itself)....I suck at pretty anyway)
A wolf that has just a few days before this scene been outcast from his pack. No, it's not from an actual roleplay.
The air was frozen, like time had stopped, for a few secounds, the world held its breath as the prey realised there was something there, something after it's blood. Then time seemed to speed up drastically, the wolf, startled by it's catch suddenly bounding off, stood stunned for a secound, before chasing after the fleeing fluffy thing, which was called a rabbit.
As the wolf breathed, the muscles contracted, then relaxed, going in time with the wolf's loping gait, the snow underneath foot was soft, and slightly slippery, so it wasn't the best running ground, but the wolf was getting used to hunting in this terrain.
Dodging a tree that sped into view, the thrill of the hunt filled the wolf, bounding now after the rabbit as they went down a slightly steep incline, the wolf gave a short howl of joy, but the excitement was short lived, being inexperienced with hunting, he didn't realise the consequences of him not paying attention.
Almost at the end of the slope, he made to jump on the rabbit, which darted to the side, avoiding him, eyes widening he fell, but managed to regain his footing, continuing on, he saw the rabbit now had a bit of a lead on him.
Growling with annoyance, he started running faster than he was before, but he forgot about the slope, instead of slowing as he reached the bottom, like a normal wolf with his head on straight would, he was speeding up.
So when he reached the bottom, the slippery snow, and the sudden change from slope, to flatness, caused him to trip over his own feet, almost somersault, and fall face first into the snow.
He lay there for a bit, too depressed to get up.
Groaning, not from pain, but from being disheartened, the lone wolf got up, shivering slightly from the cold wind, as he was quite wet from the snow melting on him, and the water soaking happily into his fur.
Beforehand, he was so excited, he'd forgotten how cold it was, but now it hit him, it was freezing, you could see him physically shaking from the cold, the fur coat no help at all.
Sniffing the air slowly, he was like that for almost a minute, before he trotted off in a direction.
After a long time of travelling, but no more than an hour or two, he came to a point where he hesitated, his tail, which was already low, went lower, and his ears drooped, stepping forward, he continued, paws padding through the newly fallen snow, his feet going chillingly cold from the wind, the cold and the wet.
He lowered his head, trying to vainly reduce the amount of heat the wind tore from him every secound,
how did I not notice the wind before? he thought to himself, before he realised that the storm had only recently started, there had been almost no wind when he'd been chasing the rabbit.
Nose going numb, it prevented him from smelling the coming wolves, till he saw them, jumping a little with fright, he recognised one, whining at the wolf, he hoped they'd listen to him this time.
"Scum, you're not welcome here." growled the one to his right, turning his head to look at the wolf, he cringed slightly, this was the wolf that killed his father, in front of him. This wolf scared him, and it wasn't just that the wolf standing there is a murderer, the wolf just gave off an air of evil, and that scared him.
"I-I know that," he stuttered, looking down at his paws.
Before one of the, from what he could see ten wolves that surrounded him, wolves spoke he blurted out hurridly, "Let me explain! You haven't given me a chance to tell you my side of the story!" he said desperately, they had it wrong, he at least wanted to clear the lies from his name.
"No, there is no mercy for ones like you, filthy low-life you are Gren." spat a wolf behind him, hearing his name, he turned and saw his little brother was staring coldly at him, his face fell into one filled with distraught, even his brother, who had always stuck by him, believed the lies.
Turning back to the wolf he had whined at, he watched desperately for a sign of sympathy or anything, from whom he had thought was his best friend.
"Please..."he whispered, after a minute of stone cold silence, what he got in response was a word, one whose voice was full of hatred, "Pathetic." it seemed to have come from the wolf, whom he'd gladly lay his life down for, even now, his best friend.
His mind was reeling with shock, terrible heart wrenching sadness and disbelief, Gren stumbled back a few steps, eyes wide and glassy looking from the horror, the fear and shock of his situation finally dawning on him.
The rest of the pack, their forms, coming out from the shadows, stepped forward, now they were all standing in clear view, Gren instinctively slightly went lower to the ground, but remained standing, and his tail went between his legs,
I'm going to die now aren't I?
he thought dimly, the thought not exactly registering quite yet though.
Suddenly, they all yelled, "SUPRISE!" causing him to jump dramatically, all the wolves around him laughed, the tension was suddenly gone, and wolves were coming over, greeting him affectionately.
"W-Wh-Wha?" he breathed, unsure if he was seeing things, didn't they truly hate him a minute ago?
His best friend came over to him, "Sorry buddy, but we had to, you are the alpha's son, if we'd let you stay around, your suprise birthday party would have been ruined because you get around a lot through the pack. We've set up a underground cavern with lots of deer meat, some of it has till now been kept frozen in the snow, come, let's go eat, and have merry!" Gren's friend chuckled, and batted a paw at him, "Look how stunned you are! C'mon, let's eat while the freshly caught deer is still warm."
Allowing himself to be led along, everyone in the pack followed, chatting along, and already they all were in a good mood, unable to help himself, Gren caught the feeling, and started grinning, accepting it all without much question, there wasn't much to question, it was really hard to throw a party without such an important wolf finding out, he wished he wasn't as important, then he could have fun without having to be outcast for two or three days.
Unbeknowest to all the other wolves, a tan coloured wolf followed, slightly at the back of the procession, with a large grin on his face, "Enjoy yourself tonight, for it will be your last bit of fun you will ever have." he said chuckling in a sinister manner, but talking too quiet for any other wolf to hear.
Soon, very soon, he would start his plan.
(The wolf one sounds so original (I tried to make it original, but now in my head, it really doesn't feel that way) for the plot I randomly came up with for the third roleplay sample...-.-)
Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have:A semi-lit sci-fi (if you have to shove it in a box(the common term is genre).) human roleplay, well it hasn't been completely made yet, it's on the drawing board, but it is almost finished I suppose, well almost finished enough for people to look at it at least. So I'm going to have it up soon, thought I might as well mention that.
Please note (that is, if you decide to browse through all my posts) that while I do tend to chat a bit(in my posts, outside of character), NONE of the rps I'm in currently, are semi-lit, and I have made up my mind a long time ago, that if I do join a semi-lit rp, I won't be chatting outside of character. So don't worry(that is if any of you are worried) about me chatting lots I suppose. Oh and lately I've been addicted to doing oekaki(and me being addicted to Christmas, posting in advent trades a lot and stuff), and I haven't done my roleplay posts for today yet, so the first page or so of my post history is about oekaki and other stuff like that, so if you want to see some roleplay post examples, just skip the oekaki stuff.:3
I hope having the question parts in colour is allowed....I wanted it to be easier for people to see where those parts are.
And I shall now stop talking...
Please do not eat me...I decided to post this before I lost my nerve to try and join...
