I only recently went back to the 9th and 10th doctors' episodes to watch the ones I'd missed. Glad I did I used to hate Donna but actually she's not so bad at all.

I'm a big fan of Donna, too, ever since I saw her first episode. I've never understood how some people don't like her, but then again, it seems like Rose is pretty popular and I personally find her super annoying, lol. Actually, I don't really like most of the Doctor's companions, or at least I feel more or less neutrally about them. Only maybe two or three of the ones I've seen are characters I truly love.

Donna's definitely my favorite of the new series companions, although Leela from the classic series is probably my favorite across the entire show. Of course, there are still five Doctors I haven't properly watched anything of yet (2, 3, 6, 7, & 8,) so things could always change. :)

I'd definitely recommend watching the seventh doctor soon! I was a bit skeptical at first as I'd heard some bad reviews about his era but he turned out to be amazing and soon became my favorite out of the doctors I've seen! His companions are pretty awesome as well, especially Ace :)

donna just proves that you don't have to be thin and exactly beautiful to be the doctor's companion. in new who, almost all the companions are thin and sexy women. i love donna so much, she just perfected the show for me. i really died inside when the 10th doctor had to take her memories and she could never see him again.

I haven't posted here in a long time, seeing as I'm not really a big fan of Doctor Who anymore, but I'd like to throw my two cents in.

Rose was my first companion, too, and I liked her in season 1. But once the 10th doctor came around, he kinda just changed her, and I started hating her. I liked Martha better, and Amy/Clara are probably my favorites. Kinda just connected to them, I guess.
