@*Watermelon Love*: Thank you so much.
I normally do not try very hard during competitions so I was surprised by the outcome. ^u^"
@.chamomile.: Oh look someone I know. Hello! I knew you had some plumerians yet I never caught you on the fanclub whenever I posted. And thank you.
I mainly ask that question because I am working on a drawing now that involves an idea very personal to me and, if I loose, I would keep it because it involves non-plumerian related story ideas and would not want anyone to use the drawing other than myself. >n<"
@Blueh: I kind of understand what you mean, but what if doesn't match the winner's character? I am currently working on another plumie entry artwork for another contest and, while I would maybe gift the picture of the plumie itself to the winner with a transparent BG, the background is rather personal to my idea... A character is more than just a design. If you loose a design, you still have your ideas, and can make a new character with it later, excluding you remove anything that specifically belongs to the character you entered for.
@maizono-chan: Good luck getting your first plumerian.
what was your Plumie like as a kid? This only applies to plumes that were adopted as an adult.None that were from the nursery or adopted as kids!
Jack: As a child Jack was very ignorant and wild. He was brought up almost like a wild animal, on the streets, on his own, and, seeing as I imagine plumerians, if in the wild, would behave like wild animals, was captured by humans and brought up, since he was five, in an orphanage for humans. He adjusted so much for humans he was partly convinced he was one, especially after his parents, both humans, adopted him, supposedly to be a "pet" to their daughter Lizzie but the two were really like siblings. Due to being used to humans, Jack is slightly awkward around other plumerians he meets. He mainly works with humans in his job, and, though he has always longed for "true love", every time he comes across a plumerain girl he has a crush on he cannot talk to them and thus, does not have many friends... besides Eustace, who dos not like him much. As a teenager he was reckless, especially after Lizzie's death, but changed after he got into a fight over something very trivial, and was badly injured because of it.
Eustace: Eustace was from a rich family and lived a rather old fashioned life, as his parents were very traditional - his entertainment was in books, old books, not in television or modern books. When he played games, they were card games and boardgames, not video games or computer games. Everyone in his family was against each other, always competing to be better, and thus, Eustace grew up with the idea that, to succeed, you needed to shove everyone out of your way and not waste time with it - yet, you'd do it in the most proper, non-violet way possible. Eustace never felt like a child as a child, and, despite what over people think, this fact makes him proud of himself - though, he harbors some unknown regret from his late childhood that most suspect had something to do with the death of someone. Whatever this event was, Eustace is now very careful. He does not consider anyone a friend due to it.
