Holibombs Discussion Thread

Hello! I got permission from "SkullyNat0r" to post this concern.

I have many pets on my WL for my SS (Either Hoarder SS, CS SS or LTCS SS) I have continuously been given super generous gifts from so many Hollibombers here of pets that are for those people I'm SS to. I would love to know how you feel about your Hollibomb gifts being re gifted? I know some people might have conflicting feelings, but I hope to come across as understanding and that it won't hurt anyone's feelings having them re gifted.

I will be adding this information to my Signature "Hollibomb gifts may be re gifted as a SS gift"

My wishlist is super small, so unless it's an unreasonably valuable gift, a missed outcome or a hoard, I usually have to regift. This allows me to keep making others happy and to build fodder for things I do still need, so I like it! When I give an item I hope it stays with the user, but I also know that people are getting duplicates due to exactly the situation you describe! So if they keep one and trade off another, I don't mind at all if it's mine that goes back into circulation. And if it's intended to make another user happy and not to be kept, so much the better!

It's the gesture that counts!

I have no issue with the pets, items of C$ that I send out in a Holibomb being regifted or being used as payment for another pet/item. The point of doing Holibombs is to see the responses to said gift and the gifting - it just brings me some joy during this time of year. What you do with what I gift you is up to you!

I'm a dweeb, so I looked it up:

The first record I have of me holibombing YOU is in 2013. Then it looks like I only do alternate years (which funnily enough corresponds with years I was away from home/consistent wifi for a while), so 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021. *
*edit: I have bombs to LaceWhiskey in 2016 and 2018! So it looks like I only missed 2014 and 2020!
Then from 2021 onwards I've played every year to now.

If anyone has a holibomb from me with an earlier date, please lemme know! I'd be curious to find out, cuz I don't remember lol

This is my first year doing Holibombing! I have gifted a few people so far and it makes me so happy to see people’s reactions and thanks. This is such a fun tradition on CS!

Really enjoying doing the gifting I have enough pets this year that I feel I can actually take part and gift people something from their WL most times, which is cool. I did it last year but didn't have much to give out, to be honest, so this is my first proper go at it !

If people decide to regift or put pets up for adoption, I don't mind at all. Its about the gifting, and once it is theirs they can do what they wish

This year is my first, not only joining holibombs but being on Chicken Smoothie for the winter holidays at all! Which, as you can probably tell from the count I've got going in my siggy, I'm really enjoying so far. ^^

I have played CS on and off for years. I always try to make it back on for the holidays so I can join the Holibomb festivities. I am not sure how many years I have done this. But I am so glad I am able to participate this year!

If I am not mistaken I received my first holibomb in 2014, though as of now I can't say when I started playing it. I do remember watching it for a few years until I finally decided to join the fun.
Once I have slept I'll try to look it up and answer properly!
At least for me it feels like I've been only active participating since 2020 or so xD
