I agree :/ I was kinda hoping he'd turn out to be a cooler character and less... like he is now.
For all those comic fans:
Do you think that when Carl and Jesus go to the Savior's place it'll play out like the comics? I mean, episode seven is even called 'sing me a song', which is quite obviously a nod to the scene where Negan asks Carl to sing.

I think the way Carl is like now is because of his relationship and he was pretty annoying when he was a kid as well, always trying to find ways to get himself in trouble and trying to seem tough like he is now.

I saw on an article that the reason Carl has his hair so long is because they want the hair to cover his eye so doing makeup is easier. When they take off the bandage in the future, is what I mean. I don't really know other than that, but I agree that it makes him look a little trashy. lol

Lol I like Carl, but yeah, he really does need to cut his hair... and more and more I'm getting worried that I'm going to stop liking him in the next season or so when we get done with Negan's arc. Not going to post spoilers for anybody who hasn't read that far in the comics, but he's going to be such a brat! Even more than he already is, haha. I'm so sad because I love him right now, and I don't want to lose that... :'(

And on another note, concerning the most recent episode... Swear was actually one of my favorite episodes in the season so far! I know not a lot of people were too thrilled with Tara getting an episode pretty much all to herself, but I honestly thought it was great. Tara is one of my favorite characters, and I'm so happy that she got some time in the spotlight. She was so funny and charming last episode. :) The only thing I didn't like too much is that we didn't get to hear the conversation when Eugene told her about Denise, Abraham, and Glenn. It just makes no sense to me that we weren't able to actually see a scene that important for Tara... especially in an episode that's all about her... :/
