The Loyal Silver Spoon

It was an Autumn day in the town of Ponyville. The birds were in their nests, Fluttershy was tending to the animals, The weather ponies were doing their job and the school ponies were in class. Everything was perfect.
Class ended as AppleBloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle made plans for crusading. The Cutie Mark Crusaders were attempting to earn their cutiemarks in anyway possible once more. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon came up to them as Diamond Tiara approached first.
“What’re the Cutie Mark Cry Babies doing now?” She taunted as Silver Spoon followed her lead.
“Yeah, what’re they doing?”
“Go away! We’ve got business to attend to!” Scootaloo said, very aggravated.
“Fine, c’mon Silver Spoon, we’ll just leave them to fail.” She teased once more as Silver Spoon followed her to somewhere they could be alone.
A few minutes later, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were found trying to be dentists, helping Colgate.
“This will for sure get us our marks!” Sweetie Belle said excitedly as she accidently pulled a pony’s tooth out for the fifth time.
Colgate soon escorted them to the door and slammed it shut.
They sighed as Silver Spoon approached them, seeming to be alone.
“Do you have a moment?” She asked.
“Uh, sure.” AppleBloom responded as they went to the CMC Treehouse. They were outside, of course.
“I, I lost my Cutiemark..” She said awkwardly. The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasped in surprise at the sight of the blank-flank Silver Spoon.
“H-How?! This isn’t natural!” AppleBloom gasped.
“Last time I looked, it was just, gone.” Silver Spoon responded.
“Welcome to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Silver Spoon!” Sweetie Belle said excitedly.
Silver Spoon looked surprised then said,
“I guess I should get my Cutie Mark back..”
“Then we have a new member!” Scootaloo shouted.
“Temporary member.” AppleBloom corrected.
They soon had lunch inside the treehouse. They chatted for a while and found out they had a lot in common.
The next day, during lunch, they were with Silver Spoon, chatting away. Laughing, smiling and making small jokes as they went along with the conversation.
Diamond Tiara soon noticed she wasn’t being joined by Silver Spoon to plot taunts for the
Cutie Mark Crusaders and soon saw her with them. A mark of pure anger on her face.
“Silver Spoon! What are you doing with those-those, Blank-flanks!” She yelled across the school yard.
Silver Spoon stood up and revealed her flank.
“Silver Spoon! How?”
Silver Spoon turned away and joined the CMC once more, still chatting. he seemed to ignore Diamond Tiara for once in her life.
“Fine! I don’t want to be friends with a Blan-flank anyways!” She yelled once more across the school yard and dittoed SIlver Spoon, turning away.
Later that evening, Silver Spoon was in the clubhouse when she said,
“I’m actually kind of happy that I lost my mark. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have know how great Blank-flanks really are..”
Once she finished that line, she earned her cutiemark back and smiled. The CMC smiled with her and she learned by only true friendship with the CMC, she could earn a Cutiemark.
Not only did she learn that, she learned that she shouldn’t follow Diamond Tiara anymore, but only be her friend, one of her only friends, and hope that Diamond Tiara too could learn the magic of friendship.
