i haven't seen that but it sooo hard for me to watch animes that have oldie art. i know im picky, i just really like detailed or nicer art styles.

Any Questions? (Optional): Does anyone know of good adventure, fantasy, mystery or thriller animes? Pretty much any good anime that isn't all about gooey romance?

If I'm allowed to add on to the scary anime topic, Psycho-Pass isn't scary all the time, it's more a psychological thriller. However there are graphic scenes every now and again.

Might I reccomend X/1999? It's an amazing action/fantasy anime with hardly any romance at all. It's about this team called the Seven Seals who wish to preserve the world and they fight the Seven Angels who wish to renew it so that a higher form of life can live there. The main character is a boy named Kamui who has to pick which side to join. My description doesn't really do the show much justice but yeah, it's my all time favorite. I will warn you though, I does tend to have a few violent scenes here and there.

Awesome! I'll definitely check it out. I'll be needing animes to watch and waste time next week so I'm making a list

not all of these are purely romance-based or in a highschool setting, but hopefully you'll enjoy most of them anyway! if you want manga recs for romance/highschool-setting/slice-of-life genres, feel free to ask bc i've got way more of those haha

You say you want to watch mythology based fantasy anime so I'm going to throw this one out there. It's called Hero Tales or Juushin Enbu in japanese. It's about this boy who in the incarnation of the Chinese god Alkaid. He's destined to forever clash with the reincarnation of Dubei and after the latter destroys the formers village, he and a group of people who are the reincarnations of the individual stars that make of the Big Dipper set out to seek vengeance against Dubei and get strong enough to face him. Also, it has one of the best openings which is an added bonus. Sorry if that description is a little confusing. And there is a violence warning for it so...
