It looks so cute! If you're doing customs at all, I'd LOVE to order one. C:
Yes same here! I'd love one, I just need to get a pic of my ponysona up, it's going to be my new theme.
I'm not really active here anymore. Please don't ask for my pets or OCs!

Do any of you other girl bronies get irritated when people act as though the fan base is only male? [Besides children] Newscasters are always saying that, "Bronies are MALE fans of the show MLP:FiM.". I consider myself and my pony loving friends bronies and we're all girls. I just thought it'd be interesting if I get your opinions of this topic. So whether you agree or disagree I like to know. Thanks ^^

Oh Celestia, I agree, totally. I can't stand that because the term pegsister doesn't fit me at all, neither does filly.
After this, please don't go on about the avatars. Not meaning to be rude, but it's kind of spam. Anyhay, I will be holding slots. There are ten of them. They will be kept secret until tomorrow...then they will be announced! PM me before they are revealed and you will most likely get one <33 Also, I can't get them all done by then, so bear with me, that means no constant 'is it done' and etc etc.

I agree as well, but you have to understand where the newscasters are coming from. The majority of people who call themselves "Bronies" are male. We're just the exception, being female. The newscasters don't care about the exceptions; they care about the majority. On top of that, what's going to get more news? Girls liking MLP, or boys? Boys, obviously, as MLP has been stereotyped as a girly product. I don't agree with that stereotype at all, but you understand what I'm saying, right?

I see your point there. Newscasters will only broadcast odd stuff is what you mean, and girls liking MLP is typical.

I don't know, I still get weird looks whenever I say I like/watch MLP. I guess it's because I'm not a "little girl", but I still get the looks and that's what makes me angry :c
Did you guys also notice that Bronies/Pegasisters want all this fan-service in the show and the one episode that went totally over-board with fan-service ends up being not liked? I think it has something to do with it being based around Trixie, but still, doesn't that seem a little hypocritical?
And even though she moved away,
We always get calls from our daughter.
She has eyes just like her father,
They are blue when skies are grey.
And just like him she never stops;
Never takes the day for granted.
Works for everything that's handed to her;
Never once complained...

I kinda am young enough to like it, but sometimes my friends and a few family members tease me a bit.
A
little hypocritical? Whoa, that's an understatement. If they asked for it, they should appreciate it.

I for one enjoyed the episode, I did find the ending daft though but shrugged it off and just snickered at the fact that there were going to be protests on here from the people who did not want that sort of ending.
I'm not one to want huge fan services just an offcial name for some of the ponies, like the Wonderbolt I originally named Ice Wind got changed to Misty, which is a flat out stupid name compared To Spitfire, Fleetfoot, Rapidfire, Soarin and the other. I was desperate for her to be officially named Ice Wind or at least something cool. The partially tansparent blindbag of her is named Misty Fly which is at least a tad better than just Misty. I hear that name and think of the orange haired brat from the very first season of pokemon
Unless I post somewhere, I'm not selling/trading closed species critters.

I find the term 'Pegasisters' rather adorable, but I do prefer that they don't say that 'Bronies' are MALE. What does that make me?!?!?! (; juust kidding.
I totally understand! Stereotypes are horrible. Especially those who are shoved into the background because of them XD Oh silly newscasters..you have no idea what could possibly happen to you! :3simbafan wrote:I don't know, I still get weird looks whenever I say I like/watch MLP. I've gotten those looks before. So annoying! See...I'm not super open about the fact that I love MLP, I mean- I don't have a shirt to wear (except I really want one). I don't have Rainbow Dash headphones or earrings (except I really want them). And I've only just recently gotten my first pony merch- a blind bag!
And I've been a brony for a good while now! But still, around my friends and when I really just don't care about how people see me, I'm all over the place, freaking out over the fact that Sombra is not the best villain and how Derpy was spotted in the newest episode. *shrug* XD
I guess it's just the fact that they don't accept me the way I am- but there's no way I'm changing- I'd get to lonely without MLP. :3 They can give me all the looks they want..it won't stop me from eagerly watching episode 6 this Saturday!

Ice Wind is so much cooler than Misty.
Oh gosh- I...this..sorry guise. //bad pun *dies*
...annyways, I agree. They should rename her. How out of place would you feel if you lived in a world of Rainbow Dashes, Spitefires, Fleetfoots, Rapidfires and Soarinses((es..esesess whatever))..and be named 'Misty'? Mist doesn't even move fast! XD
