Next topic, I was really looking forward to Noir by Sunmi, but it really brought my hopes down. The mv and lyrics had a good meaning to it... but it wasn't my type. I felt like Noir was just too simple and easygoing rather than how Gashina, Heroine and Siren was. The song is okay to me, but I feel like she really didn't try her best on the song. Maybe it's just me.

I'm not going to lie, it also disappointed me. I too though Gashina, Heroine, and Siren were really good but then when I saw Noir I was kind of let down. I liked the concept of the MV with being about social media but honestly, it just seemed to be lacking in my opinion.

im the opposite, i loved sunmi's noir. definitely one of my favorites from her.

noir i think the only song i can stand enough from sunmi that i wouldn't turn it off if it came on the radio but i wouldn't necessarily look for it on my own.

Also, I really want Wanna One back as a group, I miss them a lot. I also hope for the next produce that they have 9 members instead. It would be better for competition, and usually people who lose stuff like that always have a better career. Produce 101 has usually disappointed me... especially with the people they chose. I won't be saying who or why but as much as I.O.I could've been the nation's girl group, Somi would've stood out way too much. I love Somi, but a lot of people love her too, so which means that it would've been just Somi and girls. I think Somi's solo career will be the best decision. Besides, solo artists need love too. Especially Baek A Yeon and Eric Nam. They're so talented and underrated.

If they're going to make it 9 members instead of 11 (or 12), then you'll end up seeing a lot of people sad about removing 2-3 spots for other really good trainees, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also I want to argue that IOI would not be "Somi and the girls" had they continued as a group because while Somi did probably lead in international popularity (although from what I see, a lot of the other members were also really well-liked), in Korea her popularity during IOI's time she was probably on par with Sejeong. Heck, even on Produce 101, Sejeong was 1st for much longer than Somi. Besides them, Yoojung was also loved by Koreans.

I hope Somi's solo debut will be successful. I personally think she fits best in a group setting, but that option's not really available for her anymore.

personally i dont really like somi at all. i dont like her personality or attitude. thats just my opinion tho. i do wish her the best.

as for IOI i actually agree that it would have been somi and friends because she was the center, shes just that popular. she outshined basically everyone.
