Apparently one of the girls took Akemi and chucked her at my ceiling fan.
That made me very very sad! I have a question. How much do tea cup wyrm horns usually go for? ..I'm just going to make her pay for it as its really fair for both of us...

What I would suggest is sending HMS an email and asking her if it would be possible to replace Akemi's horns with the new ones. She can probably give you a price, and then add in the shipping and ask your friend to take care of that cost for you. I'm sure HMS could send her back with your breeding season Wyrms.

She broke it - she pays full price. Make her pay in full for your damaged wyrm. That way she'll think next time before doing stupid things to other people's property! It doesnt matter if it's only horns. The toy's broken. And dont forget to tell her parents, too! That's a way wrong thing to do, she needs a good parental lecture of how not to act with other people's things.
I personally would have eaten her alive if she did that to my wyrm... There's no excuse for this level of stupidity. Poor poor Akemi. T_T

I wrote that late last night and my brain was kinda addled from lack of sleep.

Normally, if a horn cracks, I'd just suggest using glue and repairing it, but with that extent of damage, it might be better to just see if HMS can replace them with the new polymer horns.

I will never understand people who think they can do that kind of stuff to other people's things.

Damage is one of the main reasons i leave my wyrms sitting on a shelf or pin them firmly on my hat when I wear them on cam, I did drop Duggan once and he has the tiniest little sliver of horn chipped off one horn-tip, but its not noticable at all (and in a way adds to the rugged feel, haha..) so I definately wouldn't let anyone else touch them if they didn't understand their value or wouldn't be responsible with it.

I'm sorry about Your Wrym, and I hope it gets Repaired soon. To ne it would make sense for the girl who broke it to pay for the repairs, especially since she did not tell you what happened at once. A little honesty would have gotten more forgiveness from me.

The horns are baked into the head though aren't they? Wouldn't it be difficult to try to remove them?
Also can they be glued at all or is the damage too much? I may have missed the details so I'm asking lol.

Yes, the horns are baked into the Wyrm head. I believe Akemi was a polymer clay horn Wyrm, s it should be possible to drill the remaining horn stubs out and replace them with apoxie, which is what the new horns are made of.

I'm going to put a note on the wiki regarding repairs (will prob charge a nominal fee for first time break, $7 or so to cover the horn material and hassle of replacing them) and the Handler would have to handle shipping costs both ways, BUT being as this was the result of some pretty crappy behavior, if you just want to mail Akemi back to me, I'll replace the horns for free. Just cover shipping, I'd suggest priority to ensure it gets to me quickly and safely.
