I sincerely hope Peter isn't fired. He's become my second-favorite Doctor! I certainly hope that whatever issue has arisen regarding the Dalek and himself is fixed quickly and swiftly, and while the show may be put off for longer, that he ultimately does not lose his position as the Doctor.

Agreed, Peter's an amazing Doctor. He's probably my second-favourite too. But it's possible for a Doctor to be dismissed or something along those lines. Colin Baker (Sixth) was fired and Christopher Eccleston (Ninth) chose to leave for personal reasons. It would be a real shame if Peter had to leave the show.

I had no idea she was even supposed to have been written out in season 8! (I hadn't been very active in the fandom, busy in real life)

I'm glad she didn't get written out, she's my favorite companion <3 And I agree that she and Capaldi are starting to get some real chemistry now. I like the two of them together!

Wow she wants to leave so soon, its wasnt long ago when she become the Doctor's Companion, I remember when Sarah Jane last really long in the old Doctor Who episodes.
