I'm breaking down salem's most recent quote aaand.. I'm not sure if it makes sense???

ruby rose - hinted at in the very first episode.

it is true that a simple spark can ignite hope,
still not entirely sure about this one...

breathe fire into the hearts or the weary
for me, this points to team RNJR's hope that they can avenge Pyrrha?

the ability to derive strength from Hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute.
so does this mean that Salem is not human??? again, trying to figure this one out.

which is why I will focus all of my power to snuff it out.
monty and the RT gang are obviously trying to tell us that Salem is another antagonist

aha! in volume 2 (I think it was?) torchwick wanted to know cinder, mercury, and emerald's 'grand master plan' and many of us had assumed that their plan was over once vale was destroyed. this sentences hints that much more is to come.

so you send your guardians, your huntsmen and huntresses, and when they fail and you turn to your smaller soul, know that you send her to the same pitiful demise.
so.. salem supposedly is strong enough to take down hundreds of hunters? dang. also, 'her' is once again referring to Ruby.

this is the beginning of the end, ozpin, and I can't wait to watch you burn.
this is hinting at two things, Salem is trying to destroy remnant, and that ozpin is indeed in the same room as salem (I mean, she could be talking to herself, but..) and/or has ozpin under her control (as her prisoner)

Well, quite a few of that you thought made sense. For some of you "pondering" responses.... i think that Salem plans on making the Hunters/Huntresses look like the bad guys. Cleaver word play and the like to make it seem like the breach was their fault or something. Thats what line 7 makes me think anyway . Unsure on the how as of now (and too tired to think fully) but yeah... my 2 cents

Favorite Character: Oh gosh it's probably a threeway tie between Weiss, Roman, and Ozpin tbh.
Favorite Semblance: Blake's.
Favorite Episode: Hm I'm actually not sure? o: I love any that are sort of Roman-centric. I have a soft spot for episode one of Volume 2 as well.
When Did You Start Watching RWBY?: Oh I followed RWBY since Monty posted his concept designs on dA. So I was right there when the trailers came out and I'm pretty sure I had my sponsorship to watch the premier of episode one.
