when you breed change something, does their breeding cool down change right away or is it the same as it was before the breed change until it's rtb and bred?

Looking for a triple crimson male tundra with tiger/freckle/crackle.
I can do any male dragon and just scroll it but he HAS to have the genes.
Lemme know if you have one like that. Or a triple crim female with those genes that I can breed to my current triple for a baby with those genes.
It's not worthwhile to gene the boy I already have and I could get a look alike for a great deal less.

It stays the same. If you change a tundra with a 7day cooldown left to a coatl, it'll still have the same amount of cooldown, in this case, 7days.
