ANNOUNCEMENT 6/1/14:
Second announcement of the day! :0 Luckily, it's a very short one; we only have two things to say in regards to the First Strike event (so if you are not participating, you do not need to read this announcement):
1. Photography is okay! That is, if you made something like a sculpture, mask, cake, etc. you will get (just a few) extra points for good quality photos/good photography skills! You will get a few extra points for good lighting (not too harsh or washed out, etc.), composition, etc. However, you will
not be subtracted points if your photography is not good. The majority of your tokens will still be based on your actual submission.
2. "Lazy photoshoppping" is not okay anymore. What we mean is if you take a picture of something (ie: a pet, a stuffed animal, etc.) and then draw in some edits (ie: horns, key hole, text, etc.) we will no longer accept it as a submission! Keep in mind that submissions are judged on effort (ie: quick sketch vs shaded piece with a background), creativity, team spirit, animation, and overall exceptional work. "Lazy photoshopped" works of art have little of the aforementioned, and they will not be allowed to be submitted for the event (but still may be created and posted on team threads)!
EDIT: This also includes making real horns (ex. cutting a paper towel roll, creating a paper cone, etc.) and putting them on your pets. They will not count!
