Shasta really is pretty smart. He might not know everything, but he
can quickly piece together vague clues, and often finds himself two steps ahead of most everyone else -or with a headache. He has a steely determination and fierce independence. He doesn't like asking or getting help, and
"No, I am perfectly capable of doing that myself, thank you" Shasta is usually pretty calm and serious, maybe even mentally and emotionally distant. He is capable of keeping level-headed in a maelstrom. He seems to be incapable of masking inner turmoil, but nothing ever seems to rattle him, so he hasn't had the need. Shasta almost always wears a serious or 'lost-in-thought' face, and almost nothing throws him; one might also call him dense. Despite this, there is one thing that can quickly break down his serious wall: laughter. Shasta is about as silly as he is serious, and when not in the company of people he needs to impress, or the situation doesn't call for serious-ness, it's pretty easy to make him break down giggling -which makes laugh harder, he has a girly laugh. He almost always has a funny, witty comment on hand, and loves jokes, riddles, and puns.

Well, in case I haven't said it enough, Rowan has a spitfire personality. She is first and foremost hot-headed and stubborn, she never backs down, and refuses to fail. She has a short fuse and is easily ticked off. When she is ticked off, Rowan resorts to her fists, er, claws -I guess- and her wit, she will argue with someone for hours, but mostly she will simply fight them to win an argument... Despite this, she makes -some- of her living by working in a jewelry shop, and has to talk up her customers so they'll buy the expensive things. She can be very friendly and chatty, and will ignore barbed comments in order to sell a bauble. Rowan is also secretive and cunning, as one must be to be a successful thief, or thief's apprentice. She can talk for hours and never really say anything, and her wicked grin hints that she knows more than she lets on. She is quite capable of talking her way out of anything, and figuring a way out of a jam, she'd just rather fight her way out. She is also a little silly, enjoying pulling pranks, laughing, joking, and generally being happy. Lastly, Rowan is creative. She wouldn't have her fancy dagger if she didn't, nor either of her jobs. She enjoys spending an hour or two in the evening imagining pieces of jewelry she could make, then how to make them a reality. Of course, her creativity doesn't just lend a hand to her job, but to pranking others, and getting out of trouble.
