Hah, it really, *really* is, though.
I'll have a good couple of weeks of pumping out art, and then can go literal months without drawing.
I'm trying to get back to it though because i've actually....sort of decided on writing a fic about Snotlout finding a spouse. Not that I think the little running gag of chasing ruffnut isn't uh....fun. But. The snot-man has a fair bit of personal development in RTTE that frankly could have stood to be expanded on in greater ways. He spends the whole series becoming his own person away from his fathers influence and becoming a better friend to the other riders. *I wish to write on that*. But He'd end up with a spouse bc duh, and to get back to the art thing, i'd like to try to sketch her out. I just need to sort or refamiliarize myself with these characters and this style.

I lose motivation so quickly and jumping from project to project doesn't help much either lol, same thing with writing. I'm not much of a writer (school made me hate it) but I want to explore my ideas in a way that my arts kills cannot. Writing small ficlets and stuff here and there to help me mend my relationship with writing. I've only written one true fic (MHA) and its questionable at best. Fishlegs and Snotlout fighting over Ruff was funny for one movie but I got bored of it and she ended up with Dr.Miniwheat. Snotman needs some loving!!!!!!!!!!!! Him and the wingmaiden girl from rtte ( I think her name was Minden) had some potential but they never expanded on their relationship further than that one episode. My boy deserves a wife!!!!

Ah, see, I was always writing in my school days; but I had Naruto to fuel that fic fire back then xD. I do still write sometimes (i'm actually re-writing a SasuOc fic), but I've found that I can only stick with it so long these days. I told myself I'd update that rewrite every week, and if that were true, I'd have finished it two years ago. My ideas live in my head better than they come out to play on paper.

I kinda forgot about Minden tbh. I've...forgotten a lot of RTTE. Which I have no excuse for as I own it on DVD, and honestly, I need to rewatch it before I write *anything*. Particularly bc I want to go the route of the riders (collective) Saving this girl and working with her as she heals from her relationship with...*Viggo*. Like, I have a good chunk of this in my head, I just need to map it with the rest of the series.

So. I play the "Rise of Berk" game, and.....



She's available in the current even season, and I'm totally getting her, but also...

How you gonna put the dragon from shrek in this game and *not* give me an animation of Hiccup trying to train her?!?!?!

So, I am still totally going to work on my Snotlout ideas later, but This screenshot is doing wild things to my brain;



Bc like. They're almost the same height. And Hiccup, at that age, is at least 6ft4. So not only are all of them kinda really tall, but you could fit 3 of Hiccup across Fishlegs and probably still not get anywhere close to his size. Also, Snotlout isn't *that* short. Yes, shorter still than the other boys, but he's not, like, tiny or anything like the tumblr side of the fandom likes to think. (I recognize that he is in the foreground of that image, but not by much honestly.)

I had a rant about character heights a while back, but like...idk man I just be thinkin about it sometimes and these people are giants compared to me xD

Quick edit to say that I did in fact get Dragon and she now lives on berk.

Another edit bc I actually drew Snotlout, just.....not the way I expected to?



Apparently it's much easier for me to draw him in the Danny Phantom style.
This was not the plan, but i'm willing to explore this direction.
