I am happy that Maggie & Glenn's baby is okay. I am also really happy that Sasha is sticking by Maggie and that they have each other during this extremely difficult period. This has also given the opportunity for some more character development for the both of them, which I'm very happy for.

I actually am glad that they are at Hilltop. Not only for Maggie and the baby's safety, but for the safety of Alexandria's group and Sasha and Maggie themselves (otherwise who knows what Negan would have done to Maggie).
When we first found out that Maggie was pregnant, I was also a bit upset that they were introducing yet another pregnancy plot line. At the end of the last season, I though that perhaps it was a gateway to Maggie being killed off rather than Glenn so that he would lose the both of them and it would further develop his character. I also thought that would be a nice way to prevent there being 2 babies in the group.
I was a bit bummed that they decided to follow the comic plot-line and have Glenn meet his fate, however now that the story is where it is; I hope that Maggie's baby makes it to term and that it is born healthy and lives on for Glenn.
However, it makes me wonder if they will actually have 2 babies. It's sort of hard for me to believe that they would keep that going for long. It makes me wonder if maybe Judith might meet her premature end at some point before or shortly after Maggie & Glenn's baby is born.


ALSO.

I don't want to offend anyone, but....
I cringe so hard every time we get an episode of TWD that is Carl romance heavy. I signed up for a zombie show, not a teen drama. If I had wanted that, I would be watching Degrassi. ɿ (•᷄દ•᷅)
That being said, there was way too much teen angst in this episode. {I'm obviously biased, because I'm not a big Carl or Enid fan, so episodes heavy in them usually bore me or make me uncomfortable, but} The roller skates thing was awkward. The kiss made me uncomfortable. All of their "teen love" ~ made me uncomfortable as well. I couldn't wait for it to end. D;

Another thing that sort of upset me was how Enid acts as though she has known Glenn and Maggie for years and that how she feels about his loss is equal to what the entire group feels. Her feelings of loss cannot possibly compare to what Maggie, Sasha, the rest of the group, and Carl for that matter, feels. WHY IS SHE EVEN HERE.
As soon as she showed up in Hilltop, my little brother and I both looked at each other and simultaneously said "NO. GET OUT OF HERE." In response. My brother then proceeded to talk about how if he were Maggie he would be telling her to just go away and stop pretending like you know Glenn so well.
Ugh. Cringe.

On another note, I hope that something dramatic happens with Carl, Jesus, and the Saviors. I highly doubt they will be killing Negan, but still. Carl was being way too angsty when he hopped on that truck and he deserves whatever is coming to him.

Just to point out that Enid does have some relevance to the show considering she was in the comics, and the show is trying to hang on to the comic plot but Enid did not smoothly transition into the show and does act like she knows everything. But if you're in Rick's group longer than a month and you have me everyone in it, then you're pretty much considered close as Glenn or any other longtime residents.

The rollerskating part was pure cringe, and unnecessary but it was a lot more inappropriate in the comics so I hope the director sticks to just this.

Ok so I voted for honorable...until i watched the most recent episode. I change my mind. It was stupid xD
A few notes on the episode:

I don't like Enid and Carl as a couple. Just personal opinion but I think they're both more interesting characters when they are 'loners' per say. I wish the would further Carl's relationship with Michonne. They keep touching on it but I remember one episode a couple seasons back where they really bonded and I want to see more of that. Also I agree with most of you guys in saying that the roller skating scene was cringe worthy. I think the episode was pretty serious up until that point and then bam. Roller skates. Plus who thought 'Oh wow, there's a zombie apocalypse! Better go grab my roller skates!' ????

Also I really like Jesus as a character. I feel like he just has everyone's safety in mind but he isn't a leader which is a very interesting combination. I think that Carl's gonna get into some sort of trouble when heading to Negan's and Jesus is going to try to save him, getting himself killed in the process. Or hurt. Or in some sort of trouble that could have been easily avoided if he hadn't tried to help Carl.

One more thing, during the car scene with Carl, I was just thinking 'How did he drive after her??? He only has one eye!!! You know how bad his depth perception would be? I would have thought he would have driven into a tree...but hey whatever! xD

Do you feel bad for Dwight? Do you like or hate Dwight?
I want to feel bad for him, if nothing else, just because what Negan did to his wife was awful, and it seems like life in the Sanctuary is equally oppressive for anyone who isn't Negan. But more than anything, I think I'm just annoyed that in the show, it seems like they're almost ruining certain aspects of Negan's character in order to make Dwight more likable--which is honestly having the exact opposite of the intended effect for me. I came to like Dwight in the comics because of the development he gets as time goes on, which I was pleased to see it looked like was starting to happen in the show in 7x03, but then his actions in 7x04 seemed to all but reverse that lol... Like come on, man... Why did everyone have to pick on Rosita so much...? :<

[ Last night's episode was simultaneously really great and really awful. I absolutely loved all of the scenes developing Maggie and Sasha's relationship. I do think the writing was just a bit off in some of that from my perspective, but still, it was good stuff. I really liked when Maggie and Sasha had to fight all of the walkers that invaded the Hilltop... Maybe it was kind of cheesy to have Maggie running them over with a tractor, but I still thought it was pretty cool lol. Seriously, though, is there just nobody keeping watch at the Hilltop or what? Lmao.

The Carl/Enid and Gregory scenes just killed it for me, though. It was very grating the way it just suddenly switched from a really tense scene to something like Carl and Enid rollerskating... completely ruined the suspense. Plus I didn't even really like the scenes on their own--I think the dialogue was kind of awkward and stiff, and I don't think Carl and Enid's relationship is developed enough yet--but don't get me wrong, congrats on this episode to anyone who actually does like Carnid, but it's just not for me lol... and Gregory is just annoying; I want Maggie to take over at the Hilltop.

And this might just be kind of a nitpicky thing here, but did anyone else find it strange that Maggie was praying in the end of the episode? I thought she was more or less apathetic toward religion at this point, and neither Sasha nor Enid have been shown to be very religious, either, so it just seemed a bit out of place... I guess a religious revival might be one way for Maggie to deal with Glenn's death, but then again, there really isn't any evidence of that being the case, and same thing here, Glenn was never very religious... ]

[ I agree that it seems pretty sudden to believe that Enid for whatever reason is supposed to have a really strong relationship with Maggie, especially when she was kind of a brat to her in their last real interaction... but I think there was room for development there, and it seems like they're trying to put Enid in the role that Sophia had in the comics, which at this point, she had already been adopted by Maggie and Glenn since back at the prison, so they were already a family. ]

7x05 discussion below,, i will not transparent it but the font will be smaller;
this episode was kind of a mess,, it was cutting between teen angst and genuine story and development. i still hate gregory, jesus could lead but he isnt very known in hilltop hes kind of a small outsider who cares for all but keeps to himself more. speaking of, i absolutely love jesus, his character, his drive his bravery hes just so g O O D OKAY. im so happy sasha and maggie are together, theyre so good together and support eachother so well. maggie still has glenn jr which is good and the whole maggie rhee thing made me screm a little.

i assume that negans got all his personal attention on alexandria so thats why simon is the new negan for hilltop for now, i assume that negan never persnally met ezekiels men much but went to hilltop to collect almost every time i guess?? since his attentions now switched?? meh, i dunno. i really dont like gregory like him and spencer are on my please die asap list lmao. hes so out of line, hes a coward and he pushes maggie and sasha around, he s T O L E from glenns grave, what a jerk.

i dont hate carnid but i dont love it, its good for them i guess but its really not needed haha, it kinda ruined the ep for me bc i didnt come here for angsty teen love but whatevs,, also im really mad at carl please tell me im not the only one.
seriously,, hes being really stupid and im liking him less and less as the episodes go on, you saw how many men negan has, what he can do, and you think that you an angsty, 'im an adult now', overemotional teen can kill him are you stupid lmao?? i just dont get it,, like at all.

i feel that way as well honestly,, i know and i know for a fact that theyve tweaked negan a bit, there are parts that im sure theyve made worse then his comic counterpart.
yeah i do not like gregory and never have ugh,, but i didnt mind the praying, i assume its just to cope with glenns death
