My friend told me that she read somewhere that you have to have the V3 Editor to be able to have the Vocaloid actually sing. If you don't, it'll just be a voiceless program on your computer...
Is this true? ;A;

Yes, you need the Editor. You can't do anything with just a voicebank. So you have to get the Editor first... :''3

Umm, well, I don't really know, 'cause I myself have V3, so... But I guess that you need the basic program to V2, too. But try to ask form some other person, or try to find somewhere about it :''3

O_________o Kettu, I'm going into the same field. Yeah well I kinda like Macs....but it's hard to adjust. And Moon, no worries. If you get a V1 or V2 it already comes with the editor. Now in V3 if you just buy the voicebank it comes with the tiny editor.......which is very very limited and not many like it. You have to buy the full editor seperately. But if you buy a V3 starter pack it comes with the bank+full editor.
