But this one was so accurate we couldnโt even finish it. It scares us and since we both have anxiety it sort of led us into a panic attack. And later that day, what the cards were trying to tell us, happened. Which really creeped me out. It also made me realize that Iโm getting better at tarot readings and that Iโm connecting more with my cards which makes me really happy. I just wanted to share that since itโs a big experience that I had with these cards.
@Ringo.
[list]well, hello there! i'm really sorry the cards triggered both you and your friend. though, in a more
positive setting.. that sounds awesome. congrats! feels pretty good to connect with a deck, right?
may i ask with deck do you use? also, may i suggest, if you haven't done it already, to make a deck
introduction spread with it?
It does feel good to connect with a deck that Iโve been working with for 9 months.
I use a common deck, rider waite the magician tarot deck. My (ex)bestfriends, mom bought it for me when I told her I was interested since she was a witch herself. So she kept the tradition of having someone buy you your first tarot deck which was really awesome.
And I have done a deck introduction spread! It gave me the chills and really helped me connect with it more. I wish I could do it with my oracle cards (not a spread but just ask it simple questions), but they wonโt talk to me. It makes me sad since when I first got them I really felt this strong bond. Iโm not gonna give up though!
missposh wrote:regarding this reading matter, @everyone, if you do readings for other people, how do you work it
out? your blurt out everything and leave it as it is? ping-pong through the session? make a follow-up
chat/meeting with them about it?
When I do readings for other people we usually chat about what the card means and what itโs trying to say. Sometimes these chats last 15-20 minutes which, in my experience, really helped the reading.
