my favorite music video is probably the ballad of mona lisa because i really like the idea behind it. and i really dig steampunk stuff, so that's another reason.
this is gospel is also really good. i love the part where the ropes like, come out of his stomach, because he's running, but he's holding himself back. and it's also great because the people around him are planning his funeral and he's not even dead yet. it's like everyone is anticipating his death.
i really like hallelujah, also. mostly because i interpret it as a giant metaphor for religion. she's supposed to represent religion, and she's walking along easily and safely, but as he tries to follow, things change and he struggles to keep up. nothing is what he told it was. and i honestly relate to that. and he was also just having a wonderful time. there's one part where he's dancing and you can tell he's smiling at someone off of the set.

did anyone else know brendon was really sick when they filmed the video for sins? our little beeb. what a trooper. <3

yup of course. it's at 2:16 and it happens really fast so you might miss it and watch it over a few times. you can tell it's just him being silly.
