Golden Retriever Day at Tufts! It's being hosted by the Morris Animal Foundation (who is doing the Golden Retriever lifetime study, in case anyone is interested). Admission is free.

Okay, okay, not a Golden - but this was posted on GRF and I wanted to share it with you all. <3 I love the Budweiser Clydesdales. Mix that with puppies and bingo! Perfection. <3 (Unrealistic, of course- but good for a smile, a tear, or a laugh. c;)

On another note, I finally persuaded my parents to switch our dogs onto Taste of the Wild! I figured it up and, just estimating, one 30lb bag should last our dogs approx. 3 months, so it's really not costing us that much. c:

Dixie's taking to it well (mixing it with her current food), but then again, I believe she'd eat anything. XD Sherlock and Murdoch are the ones being difficult. >_>; Sherlock takes the TOTW kibble, spits it out all over the floor, and proceeds to eat the Pedigree I mixed it with. /facepalm

Do you own a/ny Golden(s)? - Yes, one.
If so, what is his/her name and gender? - Sam (or Sammy). Male. c:
How and where did you get your Golden? - Funny story, really. Well, my family lived at a...community place. sort of. anyways, they had a Golden Retriever puppy; his name was Sam. As time went on, I started wanting a dog. Sam was about two. The pastor who owned the place said that I could take Sam, and I said no thanks. (I wanted a puppy) A few months later, he really grew on me and I went with my mom to ask the pastor if I could buy Sam from him. He said no (probably forgot). A few days past and the pastor approached me, saying; "If you take care of Sam for a year and he acts like your his owner, you can have him." So I took care of him for a year and now he's my own. :D Anyways, we moved away from that place about 6 months ago and Sammy just turned four December 7th, 2013.
Do you compete in any sports or participate in any special activities? - No, but he knows a lot of commands.

If so, what is his/her name and gender? - Sierra, she's a girl.
How and where did you get your Golden? - My father bought her three years ago, she was the last in her litter and nobody wanted her and her father was abusing her so we got her for $400, I wish we didn't have to pay for her because goldens are living beings, but I'm glad we got her.
Do you compete in any sports or participate in any special activities? - Licking people's legs and destroying stuffed animals, for her.
