I usually pic one day a week to gather enough food then I scavenge and I always go with whatever flight is dominating.. (idk why I just do)

I don't have too many dragons, so i usually gather some food with my extra five turns (if i have any) And then use up the rest for scavenging/digging ^^ I also like to gather everywhere so i get a variety of items ~

I buy enough food then stick to scavenging. That is what I do. Its up to each person though. And I don't stick to my flight. I pick around other flights.
